Dude, not 3D glasses, 3D armor suit, a machine where you stand in the air and when ye walk, ye walk in the game aswell. 3D glasses already been made
Here comes a new Head Mounted Display by Vuzix for all those who:

-love video games,
-love The X-Men,
-feel that standard video games do not offer enough "immersion."

That's what the AV-920-C was made for: video games (360/PS3/Wii). Talking about the Wii, imagine yourself with this and the Wii (tennis racket, baseball bat, gold club...) People would really start worrying about you so please, play this at night!

Anyway back to the device and its specs:

-640x480 resolution,
-ability to split the image into 4 parts for multiplayer games,
-lithium ion battery good for up to 6 hours,
-6.35cm from the eyes,
-view angle of 32 degrees.

Moreover, it weighs only 82 grams.
Price: 59,900 yen. 472 Euro, 372.09 GBP and 606.32 dollars :D

3-D no doubt

then of course, there are some awesome 2-D FF games. they're classic and simple to play!

well, at this time of age 3-D would be the more appropriate style. no one wants to play 2-D in the present time anymore (which is kind of sad)
