WTF are you talking about?! Viz Media's Shojo Beat has licensed the manga since October 2006. Here's an idea: Why don't you guys actually support the franchise and BUY the manga instead of freeloading it off the internet???

And one more thing: I doubt the spoiler is real. LenKaho fans often mistake what happens in the game as what happens in the manga. I've heard tons of rumors in the past about "Len kisses Kaho" and that was from the GAME, not the MANGA!

(Chapter 53 came out this week, BTW, if I'm not mistaken. Just FYI.)

Oh really? Oh joy! I can't wait to see it on the Chinese website. Anyhow, they did license (Wow... I spelled "license" wrong all this time - LOL!) it a long time ago... I bought some of the volumes, but now since I'm far ahead of the translations in English I think it's pretty pointless now. *shrug* By the way, THAT SPOILER WAS NEVER TRUE!!! I know all the Tsuki fangirls want him to end up with Hino but it's really getting annoying:

"VIOLIN ROMMAAANNNNCCCCEEEEE *squuueeeeeee* *nosebleed*" (Or something similar to that) Yeaaahh... Ousaki plays the violin too (and viola)... (Ousaki = <3)

No offence to the fangirls though. I'm just saying. *coughcough* HOW ABOUT YUNOKI?! D: He freakin' kisses her on the lips. IN THE GAME! (Sccoooorrreeee!!!! > 3 <;; PYUUHUHUHUHUHUHUUUU~!) *ahem* Well, I just hope that America DOESN'T decide to dub the dang thing. Oh dear god NOOO!!! I swear it'll kill it... Yunoki y-your v-v-voice!!... I fear the day will soon come. *dies*

What is wrong with you people? If the manga is licensed by Viz, it means you can now read it in English!! It has nothing to do with whether or not you can speak Japanese or not!

If you are a genuine supporter of Corda, you should just go and buy the Viz release that can be purchased easily for oversea fans instead of leeching it off for free! If you continue to do this, Kure sensei will be forced to stop drawing because there is no income! If you love the manga, support it by buying it!

Also, can we stop it with the Len kissed Kahoko rumor?? It never happened and not even in the game!!

I think everyone is just upset because the English manga is wayyyyyyyyyy behind the Japanese release~ but it's not just Corda even Vampire Knight manga is on book 9 release next month in Japan and book 6 won't release till next year here in the U.S. However regardless of what chapters I read on the web I always buy the manga, because I think it's important to read the official translation, which is approved by Japan before release... not to mention that sad little fact that the series can go out of print..especially if it doesn't sell well..... So if your reading it on the web..Please support the industry and buy the manga

However the manga is licensed, but the anime is not at least in the U.S anyway otherwise we wouldn't be able to view it on cruchyroll

It seems that most of the mangas that I read are licensed... But anyway, I think it's fine if it would help support the franchise. The bad thing is that I can't really buy the manga (either it isn't available here or I'm just really lazy).

And seriously, The 'Len kissed Kahoko' rumor has got to stop. It was just fanart. It didn't happen in the manga and I don't even think it happened in the game either, they did do a romantic headbutt though...

LOL, you described the Len fangirls!!!

Azu kisses her on the lips?! Kyaa~ ME WANT GAME

I hope it gets dubbed in English! I mean, it did. TV station Animax aired the english version in several Asian countries, and (I'm pretty sure that) is really popular over there. Though, they said the voices weren't great... XD But you know, there are good dubbing companies too! Azuma's voice would be hard to do, but maybe there's a voice actor out there who could nail it! I wish it were on TV in America SO MUCH. I seriously daydream about the promos that would air.

But it's not pointless to buy the English volumes! The American companies that translate manga LOSE MONEY because of people like YOU!!! and many other people! Come on, give money! Support Corda! I get into manga by buying it. I almost never read online.

Wait... I edit my last post. Len actually does the headbutt of love:

(sorry for the size, I have no idea how to change it, lol!)

Anyhow, yeah Yunoki does kiss her on the lips. P: Hmmm... I wish they were dubbed, but not in a horrible fashion, and yes there are some good/decent dubbing companies. But I still prefer the original La Corda d'Oro... Hmm... Well I did buy up to volume 8... ONLINE (eBay... Amazon maybe, I forgot)! XD But since they take forever I spoil it for myself and read ahead... Kyuhuhuhuhhhhuuuu~ I have NO idea how far they are in the book stores though. What volume are they up to in your nearby book store? I mostly buy mangas at BORDERS or Barnes & Nobles. You? (sorry for the OT post... Kind of.)

Ok, ok....I get the point that the rumor wasn't true...

Which, btw, i'm not a LenxKaho fan, in fact i'm not a fan of any _____xKaho....I just want to read or watch La Corda.

And right now, with everything being so expensive, it would be a waste of money to go around buying manga books when you could read them online. Now you "support the franchise! buy the books! support la corda!" peeps understand why we are all so mad at the licensing???

i understand that companies license to earn money, and i have nothing against that. Its just that i dont want to go around buying manga when i can read it online! so stop freaking out and flipping out over what we said, K?

...so much arguing over whether to buy the manga or not...heres just some pros and cons of the manga from my point of view...

Buying it in bookstores, online etc.

Pros:

• Supports the company who makes it
• Shows that their are fans who really like reading La Corda d' Oro
• Have your own copy of a manga volume

Cons:

• Behind in storyline
• Cost too much
• Wait varies for the next volume to be released

Reading it online

Pros:

• Farther ahead in storyline
• Dosen't cost anything (unless you download chapters, but idk how that goes)

Semi:

• Wait varies for next chapter/volume to be put up and subbed by somebody

Cons:

• Company loses money, which may make it seem that La Corda d' Oro is not really popular
• A lot of ppl against reading it online, since it dosen't seem fair to be reading it for free

again, this is just what i think about it, as i don't want to criticize anyone about the manga.

Ok... About all the debating of buying the manga and such is kind of annoying me. I just say this, if you do buy the manga that's great, and if you don't buy the manga then that's fine as well. It's better for you to buy it, but it's ok if you don't. Ok, I know you're not supporting the franchise and stuff. But there are pros and cons to everything (like narutofan110 said in a previous post). Mangas are pretty expensive... Hmmm... Although, the last time I went to a book store they were only about... $4 - $5? But now since America's economy has been going down, I have no idea how much they cost. But this is just my personal opinon. *shrug*

SORRY FOR THE MESSED UP QUOTING IN THIS POST

But guys. It's so much fun to physically take the books around with you, you can take them to school and show friends, or take them in the car, or anywhere! You can't do that with online manga. ^___________^

LOL, headbutt...
I buy books at the same places.
Volume 9 got released near the beginning of this month.

FOUR TO FIVE DOLLARS?! They cost $10 here (USA)... =( And it's not becuase America's economy is going down. That's how it's been for as long as I've known. But I don't care, I buy, buy, buy anyway, so much manga that I own about 154 graphic novels now.

To change the size of a pic, open it with microsoft Paint, and go to the Image menu, and click "stretch/skew" and enter percentages!!!

You can read it online AND buy it to give support! Sheesh. You don't have to pick one or the other.
You DO obviously have something against the companies, since you are making them lose profits. The words "leech," "freeloader" and "moocher" are perfect to describe people like you, who rely on the internet to feed you manga so that you don't have to spend your precious money on it.
It does not "waste money" to buy the manga! If no one bought manga and everyone read it online, manga would stop being bought over to the US and it wouldn't be popular!

Plus...

How do all you people read SO much manga on a computer screen?! Doesn't it hurt your eyes?!?!? XD

Ah, really?! No waaaayyy.... I never knew that. How odd. WAIT, $10?! Ever since when? D; Sadness... Where I live they cost... Well less. Daaaannngggg... I don't own that many, maybe I own about... 30 - 50? Not that sure. XD Anyhow, thanks for the info~! I completely forgot about MS Paint. XD

Oh dear, where to start.

I’m not going to knock on the morals of reading manga online or whatever, that’s a whole different potato and many posters here have covered it, but I’m just amazed at the attitude presented here. “It’s not fair that I can’t read this for free anymore!” See something wrong here?

Since when were you entitled to accessing everything for free and that you have a right to? You are already fortunate enough that you were able to even read them, because it could very well go the opposite way where the Japanese company itself shuts down scanlations themselves and cuts things off. What are you going to do then, complain about the original creator? “You should do this manga for free so I can find out what happens to Tsukimori and Hino!”? Does that sound right to you?

Of course not, so you being able to read the manga for free in the first place is a privilege. Privileges are not a right, don’t make it sound like one. The Internet has given you a privilege to reading them for free, it does not give you the right to read them for free, there is a difference there. Take the opportunity when you can, but don't throw a fit when it is taken away. You are in no position to complain when something is cut off unless you have given something in return (in this case, money).
