The topic is just as it sounds. What are the top 3 saddest anime death scenes that you've ever seen. You know, the kind that are tear-jerkers and such. Plus, the death scene doesn't have to necessarily mean that they really died, I'm only asking for the 3 saddest death scenes more-or-less. This includes anime series as well as from movies. Remember to mention where the sad scenes originated from.

My top 3 saddest animes scenes would be...

#1: In the last episode of Chrono Crusade where Chrono and Rosette sat together and Rosette just broke down crying to Chrono that she didn't wanna die, and then they were found a little while later having already passed on, while smiling and laying side by side.

#2: The last episode of Code Geass where Suzaku, disguised as Zero, charged towards Lelouch and stabbed him. Afterwards he tragically fell forward and lay motionless and Nunnally touched his hand and witnessed his memories of speaking with Suzaku about the final preparations of the Zero Requiem. Afterwards Nunnally told her brother she loved him, he spoke his last words, and he died. Nunnally then cried out her brother's name and cried next to him as the song Continued Story by Hitomi played in the background.

#3: Kenshin and Kaoru's final scene together in Samurai X The Movie. Kenshin, being stricken with a dangerous disease moved with all his strength to reach Kaoru, while at the same time, she also having the same disease, left her house to get to him. They met under the cherry blossoms and embraced just as Kenshin was about to fall. He laid his head on her lap as Kaoru spoke of the many memories they could still make together in the years to come. That is, until she noticed Kenshin had died while lying in her lap.
