Setsuko
Ace
Lelouch

Oh, and looking at the post above mine made me realize I thought Hampnies was really sad as well. First few episodes were the best part of that show.

1. Sieghart (Ravemaster)
2. Lelouch (Code Geass R2)
3. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto (Bleach)

Honorable Mention: Itachi

Sieghart was by far my favorite character in Ravemaster and his death just came out of nowhere and caught me off guard and left me completely speechless.

Lelouch had a very iconic death, I'm one of the people who would have liked to see him live but can accept that he's most likely dead.

There were death flags all over the place for Genryusai's death but he was my favorite character in bleach so I wasn't happy to see him die.

Closing this since there's a new thread on the topic and there has been little activity in this one for a very long time (aside from two posts resulting from a bump that apparently happened just in time to miss our recent year-end cleanup.

Here's the link to the new thread: /forumtopic-934537/saddest-deathsmost-awesome-deaths
