I must be blind if this a dup.

So how long does it take to make an amv?

For me I usually get the whole bulk of it together in one-two days but after that I spend a little time over the following week perfecting anything i find wrong with it and by then it's usually complete!

So what about you?!

well if i go all out, using all my free times, then within a week. but if i take in an hour or two a day then weeks. but nowadays my amv business has been lacking, i barely make one a month. and now that fable2 is out and world at war coming soon as well as web of shadows and halo wars soon after, so you can see why. also work, social life, and friends.....almost forgot those

same as above LOL fable 2 is awesome... but they took out most the cool skills i liked arggg and exams coming up for me.... i'll start makign amv again after exams cos it usually takes about 1-2 weeks to get everything done

1-2 months if l care to post it here.

1-4 days for coding (If needed)
Scene selection (If l dont plan a amv, this is a bitch)

The finished product lies on my computer til l want to release it so...

Lame, l keep forgetting how this quote thing works.

anyways.

I have 12 dvds and another 18 are coming in 6 days.

I rarely use downloaded content.

I take the dvds high quality and make it H264 HD 720P.

That means its REALLY REALY High quality.

I dont see high quality on your amvs or anything ;/.

you can't just put dvd footage onto your timeline right away, l hope you know that.

You have to get rid of interlacing and then sharpen it.

l'm not about to do this stuff free anymore >.>.

my first 3 amvs which are the only ones on crunchyroll at the moment were from my dvds but my first one was done in movie maker one and the video had to be put into mpeg 1 which made it disgusting and the other two were done in movie maker vista version but the way i ripped the video the quality could have been better also movie maker made the quality a lot worse. now i use magic dvd ripper which rips my footage and keeps it the same quality as the dvds but i am yet to upload my one amv using this yet. there should be a huge difference.
