occasionally my dog does, but she's so tiny it's like a teddy bear plus she's house broken.
if it wasnt for that, she'd be downstairs 1/2 the time.

im actually ok with it.
i have 2 dogs, one's a black lab retriever and the other's a princess type shih tzu.
i think i like having them while sleeping, though they have their own beds they still prefer sleeping with me. doesn't bother me at all.

I once slept with my pup when he was four months old and I recall him wandering around the bed the entire night since it was in the middle of a freezing November and it was much too hot in my room for him (even though I had a window open). He's a siberian husky hybrid, so after that, he just stayed downstairs and eventually moved outside.

I've squished my cousin's miniature pinscher when she was sleeping with me. Bitch deserved it.

All in all, I don't like sharing my bed. Hmph.

I used to own two birds (cockatiels) that would crawl under my sheets when ever they would get scared.
Since they were so small, I would never notice them climbing inside, so I kicked them occasionally not knowing they were in there. =__=;
You'd think they would learn the first 4 times to stop climbing inside the blankets..

[p.s]
for anyone that reads this and wonders "why didn't you just lock them in their cage?"
The reason was, when they were locked up in there and got scared. They would start to fly and bang themselves aggressively to the bars, trying to break them. So they can run away and be safe. It was worse locking them up, since in the mornings they would be bleeding. =__=;
reckless cockatiels.

Edit:
August 5th
I have a 10 week old bichon pup now. I used to let her sleep with me, but after a visit to the vet today. I'm not allowed anymore
