I hate how innocent people get arrested and jailed, imprisoned, or even put on death row. I personally think anyone who knowingly or unknowingly sends someone to any of the above (judge, jury, executioner, witnesses, and the law enforcement like the cops) should be put to death very slow and painfully on public tv.

I think it's stupid if they can't prove the innocent person guilty and send them to jail.
I don't think the judge and etc should be put to death for that.
They have to make assumptions and decide whether or not the person is guilty or non guilty.

It's pretty idiotic. My friend got convicted of second degree murder when he didn't even stab the guy. =___=;
He was in jail for over a year, what a huge waste of time.

Is it really a bad thing if they get wrongfully convicted?
They get free anal in prison.

If such a rule existed nobody would want to be a judge, jury member, lawyer, executioner, cop or witness because the of fear of death. That would mean a total collapse of the legal system and anarchy, would result in MORE suffering than the occasional wrongful conviction. Not to mention, what if somebody was wrongfully convicted of wrongfully convicting someone.
What's ironic is that all the people who quit their jobs for fear of torture would only create MORE congestion in legal system and backlog which would only create more wrongful convictions as people are forced through the system at higher speeds and their are less resources to actually help them.
You're just going to have to accept that it's a system made by humans, for humans and humans are imperfect. There will always be a degree of fallibility.

I've that it's been estimated there's perhaps as many as tens of thousands people wrongfully convicted. Please don't joke about them getting prison raped. My bias towards wrongful conviction is along the same lines of those self-righteous subbers in the sub vs. dub that believe dubs as a whole suck (for the intelligent people, that does merit some truth but it doesn't to try the dubs to see if you are wrong. I have an issue with people who will only watch subs and say dubs are bad when they obviously don't have a good open mind of liking both versions like I do).

Yeah, he's okay. He's out now, they finally released him after a year. But still, he completely wasted a whole year in there. =__=;

Funny you should say that. He was suppose to go to university that year, but because he went to jail for a year, he ended up going back to highschool since he missed a whole year. O_O
I don't know why though, I think he should have just reapplied. I'm sure he would have got in again. =__=;
