YES ON PROP 8!!!

no is completely stupid... -_-

after a few months of gay people being allowed to marry in California, now they want to divorce.... wtf??
just BAN IT!
Posted 10/26/08
^ According to your reason, we may as well ban marriage completely since straight married couples also get divorced after a few months. *rollseyes*

^ Very true. Prop 8 completley discriminates gay people-- as stated in the Constitution, we're all entitled to the pursuit of happiness. How can someone be happy when they're not allowed to be with the ones they love? Using children as excuses to pass this stupid thing is just wrong. You say gay marriage goes against your moral beliefs? You're using CHILDREN to lie to the community. Where the hell are your morals now?

I'd like to give the guys who suggested this thing a slap in the face. Really.

^ Oh, yes. Using children did piss me off quite a bit. Also, how dull must a person be to believe that allowing gay marriage will cause more people to be gay? It may allow them to "come out of the closet" easier, but it won't make them gay. Sigh*

^ Is THAT what sparked this whole thing? Geez... just because your neighbor gets married to the same sex doesn't mean he/she suddenly turned gay. It's most likely that they didn't come out in the open before because they were afraid of what people might say. Unlike a few decades ago, your sexuality is something you can hide, unlike the color of your skin.

This is too depressing. I'm gonna make sure my parents vote against this thing in November. End of story.

^ I'm not completely sure what sparked this whole thing. I do know there are people who, even though they say they support gay people, don't support gay marriage because of something to do with the church or religion.
Unfortunately, my parents don't vote and they're pretty conservative.

^ Well, the Church IS pretty influencial. There's probably some kind of religious mafia going on under all that.... wow, that'd be pretty messed up if there were.

Conservative? Does that mean they LIKE the country as it is now? Because right now... we're in deep shit. It can't really get any worse, but...
Posted 10/26/08
^ Lol. Religious mafia.

Conservative as in they're homophobic.

^ It's a thought. It's definatley a thought.

Ah, I see. Well, you are who you are. This wouldn't be America if people weren't allowed to voice their opinions about things like this. Freedom of Speech swings both ways, I suppose.
