It was boring. I barely made it half way through the first episode then abandoned it.

I prefer the older style (SynergySP's style) because I have been more accustomed to it. i have watched Hayate no Gotoku 1 and Zettai Karen Children for 2 years with that style. However, the new styles looks nearer to the original styles. It is just that the colors are too bright that I feel disappointed (the color tones makes me uncomfortable).

How can you not like the ending song?

What's also great is that they reset their messed-up timeline making it more like the material. It is a great thing because that is the real essence of why I prefer the manga than the anime (S1).

My only problem is that it may last shorter than the first season since it looks like they rushed the Marathon arc, then now Sonia arc. It just looks like what they did in Toradora. Another thing is that they skipped a really great joke in Himuro. Probably to save time.

Overall, it is great because of their timeline. Just that, it does not feel cartoonish anymore since they focus more on the plot. It is a great thing; however, I wouldn't hope that they will end it with 52 episodes. 26 episodes will be enough to cover all arcs present with rush. 39 episodes would be the best episode number if they plan on making it until the Athens (not Athena) arc.

Another thing is that there were some rumors that the manga is nearing its end... I don't know how can I confirm it. But if it is correct, then I guess there will be no more problem with covering all of the manga.

Still waiting for a better sub...

i see...

I haven't continued with the manga anymore; for I rather have the anime. Though I also get a feeling that this time it will not have all the comedy in it as well as the parody as well.

But that will just mean a more series anime which is always a plus to those who watch lame anime... >.>

I hope that they will still have the comedy and parody while having the plot because that is the essence of the manga. Kenjiro Hata's humor is amazing which made millions of people like Hayate no Gotoku. Though honestly one great reason for its popularity is because of HER...

HER!

Banishing the humors and parodies like this will make the show colorless and I know the producers know it.

True.

But, as you may be able tell from my avatar, I don't rely on the bloated anime. The Naruto manga is better.

Not so sure about that since the Naruto vs. Pain ended with a Rasengan (AGAIN!!!). But I'll respect your view

Also true. The series is rather repetitive. Anyways, we're off topic...

Maybe if I had watched the first season I would be more in to this show. I may give it another try...

YE. I suggest you watch the first season... I, however, think that you do not need to watch every single one of them since the first season did not focused much on the original material. I think it's wiser to read the manga : "Hayate the Combat Bulter"

sorry to say but i think you should watch every ep, just for the spoofs.....its really random, including dragonball z, metal gear solid, megaman and ultra man with many more. usually every 3 eps there is a good spoof
