I'm waiting for my paypal to go through And after I buy some things needed for school, I'd be able to donate.

I think that we should all be thankful that shinji allowed such a wonderful site anyways -- what's the point of complaining? ^.^ Bandwidth is pretty expensive, and I bet a handful of you wouldn't want to PAY to do something free .

ARIGATOU! ^^

My brother just watched using his account on my computer until the bandwidth message, and i logged in with my own account and got the message too! i haven't watched any shows today, so is the limit for each account or for each computer? I'm thinking of supporting when my card arrives but in the meantime what can i do =(

hmmm. . . .I can't believe the amount of criticism and ungratefulness. . . .Just to let everyone know. . .earning money is NO PROBLEM. .. I have been earning money since I was 13 years old. from babysitting to part-time jobs and odd jobs. .. .My parents never gave me allowances or money unless it is for necessary things e.i. . . .clothes for school. . .paying for field trips and etc. . .everything else I had to work for. . . .

Supporting a site like this. . .you should be proud of because it is so cheap to do. Just a thought if you can save a dollar every week you'll probably be able to donate soon if you want unlimited access. . .but if you are fine with the 5 to ten vids a day. . .stick with that. .. you have no right to complain. I am sure everyone person on here can probably find spare change under the bed, couch or even in the car. . .I mean a quatar goes a long way if you have a goal. . . .But I bet a lot of you think that that you rather spend your money somewhere else than here. . .and if you think that, I suggest, go somewhere else where they have no problem with your leeching and complaints.

Shinji is too nice to let you guys leech for this long without requesting you guys to help out at all. . .(so limiting how many vids that you watch is actually pretty nice of him too) people like us knows what it is like. .. so we support because we can understand the situation. If your parents are too stingy, I have parents like that too but I know kids nowadays know how to get around that too. .. so there is no excuse. .. if you live somewhere else where the money value is very different all I can say is just save if you really want to help out. . .Sorry about this post but I got mad at how much complaining was going on here.

wow ur life is pretty rough hm?i also rarely get allowance and ending up having to forgo recess...i do agree that it not easy to run such a web with few people donating but the problem is more likely the fact it not to convient to send the money...(in fact i dont know what currency to send in and how much stamp should i put on ) XD.complaining wont solve anything, when you make an effort to do it then changes for the better will occur(anyway has the cost rise that drasticaly?)one more thing this is not yet confirm until shinji said or mod inform us

hi i am a new member or CR, also paid to watch this month. the problem is the streaming is really slow, no different from not paying. i have to take more time to load the drama than to watch it. shouldn't people like us who pay for it should get a faster streaming bandwidth?
The speed depends on your internet connection, not CR. Do a test at this page http://myspeed.visualware.com/.

I'll try to make it simple in layman's terms: Bandwidth is basically a measure of data transfer (typically, web pages and images), usually measured in GB (Giga Bytes/ 1 GB = 1024 MB ~ 1000 MB). The measure depends on how much a person paid per month. Simple HTML web pages do not require a large amount of bandwidth per month, but a full-motion video requires a large amount of bandwidth.

Bandwidth is more valuable than disk space. Your bandwidth usage is the amount of data transfer from your web site to your visitors. It is measured on a monthly basis and is 'reset' at the beginning of each month. Your bandwidth usage will be vary every month depending on how large are your files and how big your traffic is (how many visitors there are to your site).

If you assume there will be 5,000 visitors to your site in a month and each of them will download 10 of your pictures that are 50 KB each, you will need 5,000 x 10 x 50 KB = 2,500,000 KB which is equivalent to 2.5 GB of bandwidth. 25,000 visitors per month = approx. 13 GB. This is just for a typical web site, e.g. your school web site or a blog.

Usually text files (HTML) and a modest amount of images will not consume a lot of bandwidth because they are naturally small in size. It's a completely different story for heavy-graphics site or a video site, though. It's common sense to figure out that more traffic and bigger data (e.g. video) to transfer usually means higher costs.

*realisation dawns on person who's been blissfully ignorant about bandwith so far aka me*

Costs to maintain a website such are CR are in the five figures sums basically.
