There is nothing wrong with sex.... in fact i love sex... hahah its just i personally find that having sex and getting the girl pregnant at an early age is gonna stop u from acomplishing alot of the things that u want to accomplish..... not to mention the mother of the child as well.... its gonna turn into a burden... and any other means such as giving the child to adoption or abortion is gonna have a major impact on the mother emotionally........

teenage pregnancy = will do no good on you! it may ruin your life..i think.
= wrong decisions may lead to this. think before you act.

Parenting at a young age opens up the possibility that you will have to accomplish things in your life in the wrong order, after you have more responsibilities and obligations. And it strikes me as being kinda twisted to want to have a child to specifically put up for adoption. Your selfish maternal urges wouldn't leave you or your child a whole lot of options. Abortion and adoption are both letting go. Once a girl is pregnant, none of the options are good unless she really wants the domestic life.

Some teen mothers end up pregnant; others seek it out. The ones who seek it out are shortsighted, irresponsible and sick. The ones who end up pregnant have three bleak roads to make the best of.

Teenage pregnancy shouldn't be so immediately regarded as an act of stupidity. Accidents happen i.e. condom splitting which isn't the fault of the people having sex.

Nearly two years ago, a girl in my year got pregnant because the condom split. She didn't want to have an abortion, having the opinion that abortion is the same as murder, so she dropped out of school, partly because she wanted to take care of her child, partly because of the humiliation which she thought she would receive if she continued school whilst pregnant. She's now at college, continuing her studies and has the most adorable baby boy [he is really sweet] and is with the baby's father.
As for the supposed humiliation, our year stuck behind her and she's still with her same group of friends.
I personally don't think what she did is stupid at all. The fact that she chose to stick things out shows that she is far from it.

That's a real bleak look at adoption. It's actually a wonderful thing.

Parenting at any age is a tricky situation. Very few people are financially stable enough when they have their first child. That goes for fifteen year olds through thirty year olds. When you are a teenager, you have no debt, which is great, but you also have no money. When you are thirty you are in your chosen career, but you have a massive amount of debt from college.

Either side of life has different obstacles and options. Most first time parents have no idea what they are doing. Couple that with teen age issues, not knowing how you want to support yourself, and having a child that you have no idea how to take care of...well, it would be three times as hard, wouldn't it?

The main thing you have to ask yourself before considering going through with a pregnancy is do you know how to make money? Are you able to take care of something that requires constant, and vigilant care 24 hours a day? Will you have any support from the other parent and/or family?

As hard as it is to be a parent, it does not mean the end of life as you want it, just life as you know it. But if you don't know how to pick out clothes, or decide what to wear in the morning on your own, I suggest that you postpone thoughts of child rearing. Get a dog instead.

A classmate of mine got pregnant last year, I was kinda shocked to hear. Its just very weird to think about it when the rest of us are in our last year of high school, doing all the dumb stuff your supposed to do like going out partying etc. and then shes pregnant. She kept the baby and as far as ive heard shes doing well, I think she had just turned 18 when she got him. Shes also still with the father and really loves the kid. Dont know about her future plans, but it doesnt always have to go to hell when you get pregnant at an earlier age. Though 18 is not that bad, especially compared to 15 year olds, but still pretty young.

i'm not exactly sure what "teenage" would constitute as... but for 17-18-19 year old mothers to be pregnant... there's a whole bunch of these in society nowadays but hopefully they have no regrets and are able to properly care for their children and have supportive family members/guardians.
