If Goong was to have a Taiwanese version who would you choose to act as the 4 lead roles?

Shin Chae-Kyung(Cai Jing) - Hebe Tian
Lee Shin(Xin)(Originally - Calvin Chen
Lee Yul(Lu) - Danson Tang
Min Hyo-Rin(Xiao Lin) - Han

Hebe seems princess-y and cute like Cai Jing. Calvin is perfect for a handsome but mean-looking prince, PLUS he has a very nice smile.... ...Danson is like Lu, gentle on the outside but tough on the inside(he acted like dat as Lei Ke Si)...and Han, well she looks the part....esp. the way she would look as a meanie.....

My vote:

Lee Yul (Kim Jeong Hoon) - Danson Tang // the former prince who lost both his father & prince title at the same time
Kim Jeong Hoon played the silent character who becomes interested and then infatuated by his former fiance. His character may suppose to be ambitious, but he isn't ambitious at all. Danson definitely has the royal appeal. He generally plays as the one losing out in the love triangle (whether he is actually interested in the girl or teasing her). Although he loses out in the love triangle... I'm hoping he will shed the charms he had in his past roles and take on a more quiet and mysterious role in which he (as Kim Jeong Hoon successfully did) slowly becomes drawn to a forbidden romance.

Min Hyo-Rin (Song Ji Hyo) - Genie Zhou // the talented ballerina who refused to give up her dream in ballet
Song Ji Hyo character in Goong was more solid and ambitious. I only saw Genie in Love Queen. Her character was naive and 'the opposite of ambitious'... but she has the ballerina look with beauty. I'm imagining that she can pull off a solid character if she acts the part and shed off all the 'cuteness' in her image.

~The main characters are a lot harder to decide upon~

Shin Chae-Kyung (Yoon Eun Hye) - Joanne Zeng // spunky Cinderella
YEH character is the loveable character who has spunk, then fell in love in all seriousness. She's not supposed to be considered beautiful... but her personality is suppose to give a new definition in regards to falling in love.
JZ character was not that promising in Mean Girl Ah Chu... but I believe she can fulfill spunk, youth, and compatibility with Danson. I loved her in Magicians of Love.

Lee Shin (Joo Ji Hoon) - Aaron Yan
Joo Ji Hoon was absolute quiet character. It's almost as if he had no lines throughout the drama (even though he had plenty of lines). His character was the hardest for me to decide as I had to keep within the age range of the rest of the cast. It seems like a lot of my favorite actors are in their late twenties. I'm settling on Aaron Yan. He looks serious when he doesn't smile. But I'm kind of biased from his performance in ISWAK.

Aaron's cute. He does have a royal appeal. But I think he's too cute as Lee Shin. If the costume designer can make him more handsome instead of cute... then I think my cast list would be complete.

i agree with you except for aaron .......i think wu chun has a better prince look than him (he was too handsome in romantic princess with all the high class cloths )

I agree with sweet_hope1. The cast is perfect with a replacement of Wu Chun for Arron. Arron can't be that "cold" while Wu Chun is perfect for that role. Nice pick!!!!

This are the perfect characters that comes on my mind.......
chae kyung - both ariel and yeh is so pretty and bubbly.

SHIN - he has a prince like appeal...dnt ya think JO JI HOON and JOE CHENG kinda look similar in a way.

YUL - well WU ZUN s far handsome than the Korean actor who portrayed the role though,

HYORIN - well she s graceful and she also does ballet in FTLY series.
