and umm wiki to the rescue:
This national holiday was established in 1948 as an occasion for praising labor, celebrating production and giving one another thanks. Prior to the establishment of this holiday, November 23rd was celebrated as an imperial harvest festival called Niiname-sai (新嘗祭, Niiname-sai?)

When you done with the amv you can post it in this furom with the download link and pm Kr3w.

Just out of the blue in what file format is it in and also the aspect ration??

I don't know yet because I'm having troubles with Virtual Dub. It's making my video extremely strange quality... I can't figure it out because it's never done this before. My untouched video is saved in .avi ... but I need to get rid of the subs.

Can you post the screen shot here and l will help you. If your full video is saved in avi l can make it widescreen and get rid of subs if you want that or you can use the 16:9 pull down if you use Sony vegas. Tell me what options you have.

Virtual dub can also resize your .avi after your finished rendering so all is not losted.

This is what it looks like... see the lines? not suppose to be there ;_;

I have Vegas but I've never used it and it doesn't seem to work anyway... It refuses to register thus not opening. Perhaps I can look it up on a tut or something.

Aspect ratio and Frame per second? You can check it in virtual dub if you manually set it.

Video> frame rate

Oh so it's sort of the same thing!
'Giving one another thanks'

Yes I had the same question about the amv. I assume that people would know whose amv it is when they post it (lol).

thanks for the advice guys :)

I didn't slow anything down so I don't think that's what happened. I've tried the huffy guide lovely put in the 'compression' section of his virtual dub guide and it fixed the overall video quality mess up but now I have these annoying lines that kinda flash during the transition between clips...I'm really annoyed with this video. I don't know much about the technical side of video making so it's taking a while to sift through tuts ;_;

Huffy is uncomprese ur files....and it wouldnt fixed ur interlace in the video.
you need to do is to create a script for it.

Ok guys, I need help. I just finished my amv. (took me long enough), but when I publish it (into WMV or AVI) it gets messed up. When I chose the "best quality for playback on my computer" option, the sync gets more and more off as it progresses. I also did the NTSC-AVI option, and that not only creates lines on it (like meowsa's) but also messes up the song quality. If you can help me I would appreciate it.

EDIT: NEVER MIND I FIXED IT. ^___^

So I finished it and I am going to PM the download link it to Kr3w. Man I put so much effort into this one, so I hope you like it. I don't think I'm going to create another amv for a long time (this took too much out of me....)

I guess maybe?

When I couldn't log in after the 3rd try, I clicked "forgot password." Then it sent me a new password, so I used that and it takes me to a bunch of black and white writing and the quickly back to the failed login screen.

It's weird. I really hope it's fixed soon, since all my amvs are uploaded to that site, and would really hate to upload all of those files again.
