yea.. it's fine to do remakes but i think that they're just overdoing it already..
i guess they're just running out of ideas..

where is our creativity my dear fellow filipinos?

i agree with you...

oftentimes, they ruin the storyline...
but in other countries, when remaking a story, they still have the concept...
(just like with Hana Kimi TW. although they modify some parts, they still have the idea of the story. )

Filipino dramas just drag ON and ON and ON and ON. -_-'
And the original ones are SOOO cheesy.
Well, okay I admit that other asian dramas can get cheesy too, but really, Filipino drama just defines cheesy.

Gagambino, Code Name Asaro to name a few cheesy stupid dramas.

Though, I admit, I'm enjoying Lalola. ^_^

in filipino drama, profitability is the number one factor to be consider, that's why most of them run is long series. they just use the popularity of series to attract viewers. they undermine talent as long as the actor "sell" in the market.

and i think hating your country and fellowmen is too much of a claim, the people who start and participate in this thread just hate those who do remakes and disregard innovation.

in the least sense, remakes inhibits growth since you're just copying.

I agree. i never cared about remakes before, but now that they made a flip version of my girl i just have to say that they ruined the drama. and im even a filipina myself.

the korean version was like really one of the best but omg. kimgerald. how they acted pissed me off.
i dont even want to start watching the flip version of my name is kim sam soon. -____-

i may be biased, but dang dont they have pride? so they can say that they wrote this and that storyline themself? why remakes?
in a couple of years the screenwriters will be forgotten and theyll just get the next high rated series from a different country and make remakes. really sad.

I havnt seen a single pinoy drama, because I know it sucks(no offense to the people who likes pinoy dramas.) I dont like them so I dont watch them.most of the People in the phil actually likes the remakes thats why they keep on doing it. money talks people listen. If u dont like it. why the hell watch it and be disapointed??? right? just let them be. by the way Im pinoy and if those remakes makes people happy then im fine with it. why stop something that makes alot of people enjoy them selves just for some peoples sake? sometimes be considerate to others. try it, it wont hurt.
