I watched both versions and I can say that Japan and Taiwan's versions are quite different. I think TW version focuses on romance more while JP version focuses on friendship.

Actually I watched JP first and fell in love with the characters especially Nakatsu. Then when I watched the TW v., at first I was kinda indifferent because the approach of this series is very different from JP's approach. But then I suddenly began to love Rui Xi's character and the sizzling chemistry between the two leads.

These two versions are really good. Although, I can definitely say that TW's version will always be in my heart.

I saw the taiwanesse version first... and i think "wow.... this drama is very FUNNY!" ... the end is... is so imprecise... But Wu Zun... is really handsome... and Ella... she is the better actress that i have seen in a romance-humor drama...^-^... Both actors have some class of chemistry between them that it makes them operate of very natural form ...

Then... when i finish this version... Intantly i started seeng the Jap version... and When I saw that the principal personage was operating it Shun I thought " it can work ... he has the cold and distant face ... since like in manga!" ... I really liked de Japanesse Drama... But... Maki is very very beautifull... It's obvious that she's a woman ... her face is too beauty and she does not do the man's voice ... as Ella in the Taiwanese version. <3

Ella is the coolest... *o*

I love all the strange expressions that she does ... she's very expressive and funny

But i need to say... the characters Nakatsu and Xui Yi ... Both are simply funny ... i can't choose between one and other one... XP

I remain with the Taiwanesse version ^-^ but the japanesse version is cool too... I advise to see both... ^^

I honestly don't remember much of the Japanese version. Only snippets.

I watched the Taiwanese version first, and was always a bit annoyed by Ella. It was far too cheesy. But Mizuki from the JP version just wasn't memorable enough.

Now that i've gone back and looked at pictures and such, I remember more of both and I'm having a hard time choosing. I think the Japanese one was more appealing, but the Taiwanese version was more humerous. The chemistry between all the cast is really really noticeable, and it makes it seem more realistic. Like some girl actually went to a school full of guys who've been friends for a while.

I'm still not sure in my decision anymore. I think i'm going to go find the episodes somewhere and rewatch both versions =x

Hopefully I can find them. Stupid liscense revokers >_<
