every year...at bimmerfest...its always breath taking to see a few of the e30s in prestige condition...

Theres a bimmerfest? Where at xD

Yup...its a yearly event organized by bimmer fantics usually held in socal, cali

Ahhh guess I wont be going..that'd put quite a bit of miles on my car driving there..if i do get a bimmer -_- -is having a hard time getting one-

You're not missing much..every year, there is more and more turnout...but it gets unorganized at times...the goodies there arent as impressive as they used to be...

the bimmerfest shirt designs change depending on the theme...2005 is the best year, as it had a sketch of the e30 on the back...

Ah, still sounds like it might be good fun to see other peoples cars, etc...and do you have a photo of the shirt?

I don't mind the M3, but I'd rather have an M6, and in fact that may be my next car.

The new Bangled-up BMW M6 or the older ones? The older ones were available with a good ol' manual transmission, weren't they?

Yeah, I believe the standard was "optional" but came with the SMG by default.

I can't stand being tempted....

All I would have to do is hand them the keys to my S2000 along with a big ol' down-payment and I could drive away with it tomorrow.
It takes every fiber of my being to summon the willpower I need in order to ignore the fact that the dealership is only a few blocks away.
The idea of payments keeps stopping me. I own the s2k outright and I kind of like not having car payments.

Everything is a risk to take...either go with it and see the outcome, or live in fear and the dream just pulls away in a distance...

its a big jump from your s2k to an M...even if you think you have the funds for it...the insurance will get you.

No kidding. I really really REALLY like that generation of BMW M5. Isn't it that it comes only with a 6-speed manual?

Yup...all the E39 M5s are 6spd manual. The newer E60s have the smg option.

I absolutely love BMW. The M3 just continues to impress me. I tend to like the e36's more but Id take the new M3 over an e36 any day.
