if your trying to lose weight then you shouldn't really be eating bread at all. you should go on a low carb diet. your body always breaks down carbs first and if there are no carbs, then your body starts to break down fat.

That's dangerous practice. Without understanding someone's eating habit, anyone can suggest any drastic diet plan and putting someone's health at risk.

Your practice was wrong because the human body will breakdown proteins, not fat, when it's completely depleted on carbs. This will force the body to breakdown its muscles for their proteins, at the same time preventing further energy loss by reducing energy consumption with reduced muscle mass.

Therefore a low carb diet is only suitable for people who already consume too much carbs to begin with, not just for anyone.

multigrain's better for you, it fills you up and it contains a lot of fibre which helps you clean your digestive system or something like that

And here's the rest of your "something like that"; although high in neutrino value, not just anyone can get the same benefits from eating multi-grain breads. The complex nature of the food itself means harder to digest for some people.

im not really sure, but all i've heard is white bread is bad for you and people usually go for the multigrain bread
