An ex-convict who thought he was being robbed gunned down a 12-year-old trick-or-treater, spraying nearly 30 rounds with an assault rifle from inside his home after hearing a knock on the door, police said Saturday

this is messed up. cases like that just prove that people should not be allowed to have firearms in their households. poor boy, and his family.

either way, to me this looks like this guy was blindly shooting through the door without checking who was actually standing behind it. normally, you should always check first before shooting, and not starting to baller around blindly. and isn't it so that they have to be first in your house before you're allowed to blast away?

and if he thought they were robbers, then he could have simply called the police instead of trying to solve this case on his own, and yeah, look at that, how he solved it. *thumbs up*

Wouldn't it be nice that instead of owning a gun that fires bullets, it fires a cartridge of glitters?
It's really annoying taking out glitters stuck on your face.

Who can stay mad at a person while you having so much glitters to remove on your face?
You'll be more into removing the glitters than anything else. It's like, "FU@$!!! GLITTERS on my EYES!!! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! You could just have punch me if you're mad, but glitters on my eyes?! FUI@%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Of course because the police are known for their fast reaction time when it comes to robberies. In fact robberies are pretty low on the hierarchy of what the police respond to because the majority of them are non violent. They pretty much cover robberies when they have nothing else to do. Also the self defense statute is different from state to state like where I live they have to be posing you a clear and imminent threat before it will be considered self defense. Of course the guy in this case was more likely tripping on something, also felons I am assuming he is a felon since he is an ex-con are not allowed to own guns.

This is why I think halloween is a stupid holiday. I mean once you get a shitload of candy, you're probably going to be a sick as fuck from eating all of it, and on top of that you don't even feel safe eating it.

All this money spent on halloween should be spent on something more practical, like those starving children in Africa.

i guess you're right with the low priority level for robberies, but still...>_>
meh, i guess he's been doing some illegal shit at the time, and then the sudden knocking on the door made him lose his head, and he overreacted..plus, i think he was on meth...or something like that..
