In Naruto Shippuuden Naruto isn't using Naruto Rendan anymore! And Sasuke also quited with Shishi Rendan??? What the hell is going on? They must get the combo''s back that's alot better!

I think Naruto Shippuuden is too serious

like the naruto combo and sasuke's lion combo?

Sasuke's Shishi Rendan consists of him kicking his opponent from underneath which launches them into the air and he follows right after. Once in midair, sasuke appears behind them (usually in a position parallel to the ground), grabs them, and flips them over. He then proceeds to pummel them downwards with kicks, and finally finishes with a final smash-kick into the ground (though this is only a rendition of Rock Lee's original Lotus Technique which he copied with his Sharingan)

As for Naruto's Naruto Rendan, the idea is very much the same (seeing as HE took it off of sasuke after HE took it off of Rock Lee). The only difference is that the technique is done with his Kage Bunshin. Multiple Narutos kick the opponent upwards as high as possible, and the one Naruto which is already in the air before the opponent was launched, does the final smash-kick to the ground. There's a couple variations when he goes "U! ZU! MA! KI! (each syllable is emphasized with a kick skyward) ... NARUTO RENDAN (finishing move)!!" which i honestly think is a lot cooler because it puts a bit of a dramatic effect to the move.

why don't they use these techniques anymore? as of now they're probably considered pretty low-level moves, unless they are able to tweak it a little to keep up with the competition. i can't imagine an akatsuki member falling for a those kind of techniques. yeah, it's getting serious all right. it adds flavor to the storyline.

Sasuke doesn't even usually have to move an inch when fighting minor shinobi... one look of the eye and you're pretty much screwed and Naruto? Iuno, I think he's settled for trying to learn and master new moves and techniques ^-^
Upgrading ya know? x)

well naruto kinda put his spin on it but it was taijutsu with his clones it seemed like in some parts and or just plain u-za-ma-ki na-ru-to for each kick and then slam, but i have not seen this in shippuden yet so i dont quite remember has been a while.

What FoxProdigy said. It's low level. If only he used it with combos of higher level attackes
