Ummm...can I not choose any because both are my fav buuuuutttt~ If u dun let me,I'll say Mai-Otome~ Ummm,maybe because ShizNat is more closer?They're like the inseparable duo!!

HiME. Otome was ok...but, I guess I like HiME better because Shizuru admits her feelings, and they kiss...and have that wonderful scene...in Otome...it just hints...also...I like the overall plot of HiME better...I didn't really get into Otome at first because it was so weird. o.O.

I agree with miggitdog. Hime has a better and smoother plot, both are great pleasure to watch. Most importnatly, ShizNat are much closer in Otome, while young and innocent in Hime. If really have to choose, I will chose Otome, cos ShizNat are closer and there are more funny scene then, though plot abit confusing

I couldn't agree more with clarec. I think that's why I originally enjoyed Otome more than I did HiME. For one, I highly enjoyed the fact that the two of them were older. This allowed them to be mature and comfortable around eachother and those around them. At least Sunrise gave us some inclination that they were together, and I won't look at them any other way. Natsuki looks to only Shizuru, and that was the major impact for me. She is head of the school, has a solid head on her shoulders but confides in her. She didn't do that in HiME. I could also pick out a handful of scenes that really did it for me.

OK After re-watching both HiME and Otome...I've decided that HiME is still my favorite, but Otome got close.

I like both animes. When comes to regarding Natsuki and Shizuru, HIME is better. In Natsuki's case, she was more involved and ur able to see good parts about her than Otome. Now SHIZURU on the other hand, she's bad ass to begin with. Its a same that she got taken out quickly on ZWEI.

HiME is my fav of the two for several reasons

1)
2) Natsuki is a lot more innocent and cuter in HiME and another thing is she collects sexy looking lingerie
