well, i always wondered why
and here's what i found out...>______< ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** The title Toradora! is derived from the names of the two main characters Taiga Aisaka and Ryūji Takasu. Taiga's name can be transliterated into the English equivalent tiger, and tiger in Japanese is tora (虎, tora?). The first part of Ryūji's name, ryū (竜, ryū?), means dragon in Japanese, and a transliteration of dragon into Japanese is doragon (ドラゴン, doragon?). -wiki THEREFORE... ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** MAYBE, you know... they'll eventually fall in love with one another, or is already in-love, just in denial or they dont even realize it... neh? hehehhe >____< |

If you guys are interested in Japanese, here's an additional trivia. The first two characters for "Taiga's" name (tora) is written in hiragana, simply because it's a Japanese word. The romaji form of Ryuuji's name is used for "dragon", which explains why it's in katakana.
This explains why the title is written half in hiragana and half in katakana ~ とらドラ. |

They have the same voice actress and her name is Rei Kugimiya, but she also voiced Louise from Zero no tsukanima, Nagi from Hayate No Gotoku,Kagura From Gintama,Yuuhi Katagiri From Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka and Alphonse Elric From Full Metal Alchemist |
