is this really true? or is it just an excuse for a guy/girl to break up to their partner 'cause they already found a new love?
what i mean is, can someone really get tired and just lose their love for that person without a third party included? 'cause when you fall out of love, the reason for that could probably be --- you just met someone more interesting or someone you got your attention...

um....., my opinion is that it is possible to fall out of love. Falling out of love is a normal process of finding out who you are compatible with, it is a process of elimination so that you can find your "soulmate".

I think that it's possible. Not every relationship can stand the test of time. Sometimes people just stop growing as a person when they're in a relationship. Sometimes people grow apart. A lot of things can happen that make people fall out of love. However, I think for the most part it just seems as if people only get out of relationships to pursue other options, but I think that has more to do with laziness than anything else. I once stayed in a relationship with someone even though my feelings had changed just because I didn't want to disrupt my life as it was. I didn't love him anymore (if I ever did in the first place) but I was too comfortable...so I stayed way longer than I should have.

I don't think that what most people call "love" is actually what was intended when the word was thought up. It's very much overused. Falling out of love would imply that it is only an emotion or a feeling. Emotions and feelings change I don't think love does. It's much like the relationships between parents and children or siblings. No matter what happens no matter how pissed off or annoyed you get you still care to some extent. (I should say most families, there are a good number of families with no love at all.) I would say love isn't present in most relationships. Affection and attraction yes, but not love.

i agree.....i think it happens... maybe it's just that there wasn't any love from the beginning or maybe the person changed his feelings because of different factors...

I remember watching a documentary on about the relationship of a mountain tribe. They don't use the word love, their expression of "love" is this. "You are beautiful in my eyes", when a man and a woman both shared that they see the other person as beautiful in their eyes, it means love in their language. Cute huh?

Wow. .. just like that saying "you are the apple in my eyes."
Have no idea what apple is referring to unless they mean the fruit that eve gave to adam. . .LOL

I don't think love is the right word for what you feel for your significant other or soul mate. Love is too tame nothing can describe that feeling where both of you go through thick and thin together. Sometimes if you fall out of love? I think it is just that you are done growing or maturing with that person and time to move one until you meet THE ONE.

I believe it is one of the mistake that both partners can make. I guess it can happen normally. It occurs when they had lost their interest or when things are not working out. However, it is painful.

Sometimes "Falling out of love" is just an excuse to break up
You feel you love him/her, but actually you not...
So when you find out he/she is not the one you love
You will break up with just giving the reason "Falling out of love"

But there still a posibility you can fall out of love
