well i dont think you can truly fall out of love. though i do believe things can change. things you have found cute before can really annoy the crap out of you when you spend more time with that person. also the need for some space can also make you feel doubts and i think a lot of people mistake thoughs feelings with the loss of attraction. sooo to prevent it in my opinion is date a best friend because you probubly have spent a lot of time together and if they dont annoy you or you get bored easily when they are not around then i say perfect match.

is this really true? or is it just an excuse for a guy/girl to break up to their partner 'cause they already found a new love?
what i mean is, can someone really get tired and just lose their love for that person without a third party included? 'cause when you fall out of love, the reason for that could probably be --- you just met someone more interesting or someone you got your attention...

i totally agree... falling out of love is just an alibi or an excuse... it's like saying
i found someone new...

I think it's possible. Some people just grow apart. It's sad.

I don't think you can 'fall out' of love. It might be more like forgetting the reasons why you fell in.

Time and events erode the brain, and soon there are more pressing issues that override the euphoria associated with love.

As long as there's constant renewal, you shouldn't be faltering unless you're just really shallow and desire better.

hmm my ex girlfriend broke up with me cause she wanted to be "free"
but in the end she told me that she couldn't forget her "true" love with some other guy, who treated her like shit, so was ment to be the "exchange" for that guy, which made me feel soooo horrible and used, so i think she dind't fell out of her old love.

i think u can really fall out of love especially if u r d only one who is doing the effort of loving ur partner... third party isn't always the reason... it might be our fault...

yes. I believe also that you can fall out of love because you are tired. tired because of arguements.. tired because youre not appreciated. tired because you feel youre the only one who is working for the relationship. OR MAYBE SOME CASE.. like.. the parents dont like you.. so you should give up your love. OMG im making no sense at all.

Anywat. I know it still occurs.

I think falling out of love is just an excuse, the only reason that they fall out of love because they have found another person to give their attention. They may not admit it (even to theirself), but that's the sad truth.

Yea, that happens ALOT to me, i somehow lose interest when a certain girl im interested in suddenly changes, i don't know but i think thats a HUGE turnoff, i like her as she is, but if she changed herself to fit in with the crow then i dunno, my feelings can change

Meh... I did once when I liked this person very much but she gave mixed emotions and got me all confused. After dealing with it for along time (2 years) I just gave up cause I don't like to get my hopes up for nothing.

I think it can be used as an excuse, but also it can be true. Feelings change. It's complicated but it happened to me, except I apparently didn't fully fall out of love. :/
