Help Anime Subculture With Self-Serving Ways, Or Destroy It With Selfishness.
Posted 11/6/08
We all like our anime subculture, that's the reason that brought us together from all over the world. But even when people had the best intention, they could be acting selfishly without understanding the ramification of their action. This can be very damaging to our anime global community, a community that's in fact a very big and powerful part of a society that's sustaining the anime subculture.

In order to distinguish between selfish acts from self-serving acts, you need to fully understand the ramification from those actions. This is not about who comes first, the chicken or the egg. but what would the action of one leads, the cause and consequence.

Remember: This is the mortality of our culture, our technology is advancing at the cost of our morality.

And with that, I open the topic for discussion.

A little too high brow don't you think? I think that the Fansub thread should suffice for now.
Plus, in comparison to the Fansub thread, I think that this one talks more about morals and personal stuff rather than Anime. This one really belongs in the Extended Discussion area.

The chicken or the egg eh? Whichever came first doesn't matter, I'll eat it either way. I have no idea what we need to discuss. I guess its how furthering online culture is affecting our morals. Well, morals were always a shoddy topic since the dawn of time. Its more related to the loss of religion then it is to online stuff and anime or whatever you're talking about.
