Truck kids are unarguably the most douchebaggist group of people to ever grace the automotive world. Sure we have the ricers, their ungaudy junk, silly custom ideas, and ass for performance. We have the people who drive like they just got a license and the people who drive like assholes.

They make ricers look like better people.

No, little high school kids in full size pickups. Somehow they have this superiority complex because they drive a truck.

What's wrong with a truck? don't get me wrong i like cars and speed thru streets or just a daily driving to school or work.. (cars spend lesser in gas)

With trucks you could haul stuff, off-roading etc.. pretty much fun for outdoor activities and active lifestyle..

There's nothing wrong with owning a truck. My dad owns a truck and it serves its purpose.

The truck kids I'm talking about are the little shits in high school who have trucks that their daddy bought them. They think it's the shit because it has a V8 and has this stupid superiority complex over almost all cars. I'm not racist but I call it as I see it. Most of these truck kids happen to be Caucasian males and somehow all wear their hats backwards like they're the shit. You'll know them when you see them.

Honestly i see those kinds of people, but it's mostly soccermoms in large SUV's or trucks.

Kids just pickin' up on mommy's and daddy's bad superiority complexes i suppose.

just a question : did they do something wrong to people who drive cars? (like ramming, towing it to somewhere, etc.)

yeah, in my opinion, trucks should have a real purpose like off-roading and going to long distances and not just all for show...

btw, @rev, kinda makes me imagine of those football team players...(i'm not from the u.s but i feel like i know...just correct me if necessary )

I have a stout memory of people try to race me in trucks. They all act hardcore and think they're cool.
One kid in an old Jeep Wagoneer that he bought for $500 revved at me in the school parking lot. His friend told me not to embarrass myself.
Another kid at school talked smack about my friend's GSR Civic when he first bought it. He raced with a "big block" Ford truck and got his ass handed to him by bus lengths. He really has a 350 then blamed his loss on his engine problems. Ever since that day, he proclaims he beat the Civic but will never race it again to prove it.
A kid yesterday tried to race me and I didn't care and he wouldn't give up.

Some of these truck drivers are football players, sadly enough.

Don't get me wrong guys, I like trucks. The new Toyota Tundra SR5 is the shit and I would totally trade my Integra for it. Badass full leather interior, comfortable ride, and power to boot.

possible advice : find more guys who own cars and form an even bigger group...thats all i can give.

...i also had a bad experience but on a larger truck...one night while heading home, the truck overtook me and it splashed water near a puddle on the side of the road and made we wet (my window was open btw,) got pissed off and to this day, if i ever find him...i'd do anything to make him pay...

It seems idiots don't understand Power to Weight Ratios. a 2 1/2 tonne truck against a lightweight civic, well course the civic would win.

Its like here in Australia, people do up their Hilux and Rodeos with massive rims and cheesy graphics and believe its cool. Pfft, substance > style.

But on the note of the civic vs truck thing, it doesn't take much to push a truck when you begin modding.

AH yes i miss my truck it was awsome. I had an 1987 ford f250.
silver grey paint job with black bumpers i have 4 driving lights on the front along with my stock head lights i could light up the while fkn highway for a mile.
It had a 302 with cherry bomb mufflers and straight pipes out the right side. It also a 3 inch body lift and was rollin on 35's mudders. i could pull up to people at stop lights and my exaust was just at standard car window level so i could gas out the car next to me.

with the straight pipes i sounded like a dragster rollin down the highway

i use to use it like a rally truck on the back roads arround where i live. was some of the funnest shit ever.
