Wikipedia:Japanophilia (in Japanese: 親日派 shinnichiha) is an interest in, or love of, Japan and all things Japanese. (Its opposite is Japanophobia.) One who has such an interest or love is a Japanophile.
Anyone else thinks that this definition seem half-assed? I find it weird that someone would hate another person just because they like a country and its things. That would be like an American buying all American made things just because they love the country.(Yes including cars, you know they suck)

I believe this could be a better definition if that's the case.
Edit: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Japanophile
1st one.

Definition of Weeaboo:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?defid=952612&term=weeaboo
3rd one

Unless of course Wikipedia's definition is correct, then I would see no reason for all the hate towards these so called "Japanophiles"

ugh...I know someone who joined the military just so he could go to japan. You should have seen his joy when he got himself a japanese girlfriend. He fancies himself the king of all things japanese. He named his cat Neko and was compelled to explain to me that "neko" meant "cat" in japanese and wasn't it oh so clever of him to name his cat "cat".......as if I didn't know what the hell "neko" meant.....
