Can someone please explain how can people of Israel be a race? I see "racism" here mentioned, so I just want to know.

The issue is mainly because Israel is a majority Jewish state, the country is also a home-state for Jews. Some people see Israel=Jews, yet they have a 17% Muslim Arab population that lives in peace with them and has all rights given to them too.

And the wall around Gaza was for Israel's protection, suicide bombers kept running into Israel killing innocent civilians. After they built the wall terrorism dropped. and it made Israel safer. Besides, Egypt built a wall on it's Gaza border too, how come no one talks about that?

Right, so Norman Finkelstein never does anything wrong. He was only fired from these major universities because he verbally disagrees with his fellow faculty members. Norman Finkelstein is racist. His own words have convinced me that he’s racist. Yes, this racism is idiotic. But despite your apparent educational elitist ideology, educated individuals can be racist too. It’s not just for us lowly, ignorant Americans.

Norman Finkelstein is one of the most prominent, respectable and brave scholars on the Israel/Palestine conflict, and the only reason you think he's an anti-Semite is because you don't like his political views. He is definitely not racist, but actually has a much higher level of morality than the people who've put their religion or ethnicity in front of their morality.

The entire argument was pointless, because it's just ridiculous. There's no basis for your accusations, so why should they even be taken seriously? You're convinced he's a racist, and I'm convinced you just don't like his political views so you twist them in a way so that you can make silly accusations. I think his views are great and that he's brave for being so open about them.

Well, if they agree with Norman when he says that the Jewish people are thieves then yes. I’d say that’s an anti-Semantic opinion.

If you look at Norman and with his intelligence who would dare go to a debate against him and expect to win? Hmm he is a Jew whose parents are holocaust survivors. Yei was right for calling these people brave because as John J. Mearsheimer said he already knew that going into this taboo topic would automatically label him an anti-semite. They how the ADL works and all these other twisted groups trying to silence any information that can be harmful to Israel. But as brave politicians who care about their country they speak up about it. They speak up about how Israel really isnt the soft, kind friendly country as you see her to be. This is really why I’m so skeptical about this, “they’re only fighting because of Israel,” business. Watching Palestinian media, looking at the content of the school books and religious programs, all of this suggests to me that it’s more brainwashing than desperation.

Obviously it's brainwashing, people all over the world are brainwashed to have their parents' beliefs.

We already had that discussion, but in this case I mean brainwashing in the sense of North Korea where even if your parents raise you to do one thing your publically taught to do what the state wants. In North Korea they teach their children math by saying, “If I throw a grenade and kill two Americans, and then throw another and kill three, how many Americans have I killed?”

Now, to be fair Palestine is not as bad as North Korea by a long shot. Still, when you have your children growing up watching Fanfur the Mouse on television and he becomes their version of barney, then you announced “Fanfur was killed by Jews,” and then you teach your children to murder, torture, and launch terror attacks against the Jews the result is inexorable.
