Judging by these responses, women shouldn't be surprised of the lack of gender inequality in this world.

My response to such sentiments as those above would be, don't girls think guys fear rejection and humiliation as well, or are we just emotionless sex hounds? Guys have had to fend for themself and deal with rejection since the dawn of time, and its about time for women to have to pursue the opposite gender, rather than sit back and hope for the best. There is a reason why being called a 'pussy' denotes cowardism, and as long as girls keep acting in a way which supports this, why complain that its not true? |

I hate you for being right. <.< I guess me, and the other girls who responded similar to mine, hate guys when their being sexist. Yet we never realize...that we are sexist too But then...I think guys are just more..somehow...confident...considering...they have been brought up to be the ones who ask the girl out...like in movies and stuff...very misleading. |

I was just about to bust out the same thing. Good point made. |

If I met the right guy, I wouldn't mind asking him out. I don't care which one makes the first move.

I wouldn't say you are being sexist otaku nerd, but rather you were unintentionally affirming traditional sex roles, there is no shame in that. But I guess when you go through your 20's you'll realize that you need to take action into your own hands.
Anyways, there are evolutionary reasons why this traditional model of male/female coupling has worked well for centuries, but there are several drawbacks as well. All i'm suggesting is that girls consider growing some 'balls' - so to speak. |
