Recent studies show that if you get rejected and humiliated by that one and only person, it's the end of the world for you.

Judging by these responses, women shouldn't be surprised of the lack of gender inequality in this world.

I am surprised that in the age of 2007, in a post-feminist era, young women are unwilling to break past tradition in order to get the guy they actually want, and would instead opt to sift through several offers of male companionship over the years to find a guy worth something.

My response to such sentiments as those above would be, don't girls think guys fear rejection and humiliation as well, or are we just emotionless sex hounds? Guys have had to fend for themself and deal with rejection since the dawn of time, and its about time for women to have to pursue the opposite gender, rather than sit back and hope for the best.

There is a reason why being called a 'pussy' denotes cowardism, and as long as girls keep acting in a way which supports this, why complain that its not true?

I hate you for being right. <.< I guess me, and the other girls who responded similar to mine, hate guys when their being sexist. Yet we never realize...that we are sexist too But then...I think guys are just more..somehow...confident...considering...they have been brought up to be the ones who ask the girl out...like in movies and stuff...very misleading.

If I met the right guy, I wouldn't mind asking him out. I don't care which one makes the first move.

I wouldn't say you are being sexist otaku nerd, but rather you were unintentionally affirming traditional sex roles, there is no shame in that. But I guess when you go through your 20's you'll realize that you need to take action into your own hands.

Anyways, there are evolutionary reasons why this traditional model of male/female coupling has worked well for centuries, but there are several drawbacks as well. All i'm suggesting is that girls consider growing some 'balls' - so to speak.

Err.
I won't ask him out.
But 'by making the first move' you mean trying to befriend him and get closer..then sure, why not eh?
