Today, during my Health Class. My teacher asked me a simple and very easy to understand question. She asked [b"What makes it hard not to have sex?". I thought I knew the answer but I couldn't say a word. It may sound simple, but what exactly are the answers you have in your head?

Mine:
-Attractice girls
-Doesn't bother me that much but it makes me think about it.

How about your CRs?

If that person is like the most amazing and you think that that person is the one you want to be with all your life, it makes it hard not to.

...basically that's it. it's hardwired into us and translated as sexual urges. which is why i've never really understood the whole "gay" - not sure how someone can trully have no attraction to the opposite sex, at least on a physical level.

Ah, soka:

- If someone has just had sex, it is probable that you would be attracted (sexually) to them, because of their "sex smell"... or something like that
- Images and other things of the sort (i.e.: porn, strippers, etc) that stimulate your hormones have a major effect as well
- I'm pretty sure if you eat aphrodisiacs, such as clams or (an excessive amount of) chocolate, it is possible to have the urge to... indulge yourself

among other things.
I hope this helped ^^

^^ perhaps it's just a matter of how much these urges can influence different kinds of people; the range may be variable but like you said, it's still hardwired and therefore present.

think of homosexuality as natural selection at it's finest...the easiest form of population control.

Anyway, why do I think it's hard not to have sex. Well we live in an oversexed society for one, from an early age we are inundated with sexual images. It's almost as if we are brainwashed into thinking that we need sex to survive. Add to that, most of us grew up with parents who tried to shield us from any knowledge about sex (yeah...I grew up in a sexually repressed catholic latin household) which gives sex a sort of taboo feel. We want to try it because we were brought up believe that it was only something adults do. Which is the same reason for underage drinking and underage smoking. We always want to experience things that we're told not to.

Yeah, animals do have homosexual tendencies, but I don't think too many of them are exclusively homosexual. I think it's just releasing sexual energy, even if it isn't in a procreative way. I understand the whole bisexuality thing and all that, I just can't fathom how someone could have no attraction at all to the opposite sex.

Honostly the way this question is phrased is messing me up. What makes it hard not to have sex. There is nothing hard about sex, well minus finding a partner and what not. Nothing makes it hard to not have sex. You make a decision to, or not to.

except the male, huuhuuhuu

yeh, ok.
It'd be hard to have sex if the guy can't get it up in the first place.
That's one answer, i think
