I've heard of it and watched the anime, but haven't read the manga yet. Once I have the money, I plan to start buying it.

I've read 15 volumes of the manga, and am waiting on the 16th at my library. I've begun watching the anime, but don't always have time to watch it too often. Kimi ni Todoke is one of my favorite series.

This is such a sweet manga, in the middle though there are times where you get frustrated at just how shy Sawako is but if you are patient, it is worth the wait and it is really cute

I love how realistic the characters are and how the relationship between Sawako and Kazehaya develops slowly and naturally (though sometimes frustratingly slow). I also like that romance isn't the main focus and that the series also focuses a lot on Sawako's friendship with Chizu and Ayane. One of the best coming of age series I've read.

it was one of my first shoujo reads when i was getting into manga... and yeah, i really didn't like it. I've seen anime gifs where they're cute and funny, but i didn't like the story. I think it's because I don't like shy leads.

It is a sickeningly sweet little Shoujo tale that is pretty boring and dull in some places, and very over-exaggerated in others. I like the side characters better than the leads, though it IS nice to see a nice girl fall for a nice guy instead of the cliche bad boy.

But overall, I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. And its dragging on too much now. The sooner it ends the better.

I hate how slow it's being released now, it kinda takes away from it a bit having to wait for it and i don't like reading scans online.
I agree though, I hope it's coming to its end soon, before it becomes too stale and boring.

This is one of the most awesome manga I've ever read. (but to be honest, I watched it more than I read it.)
It doesn't have that usual smutty touch to it that other manga of like-genre has.

Just a good, clean story of love & friendship. Although sometimes the pacing is sluggishly slow.

It was among the first shoujo mangas I read and... I hated it. She cried too much and I guess I have a thing against shy characters. It also seemed like there was nothing happening in the first 30 or so chapters I read.

But I will say the GIFs of the anime I see are really cute and almost make me want to pick it back up.

Could' describe it better. That's how i think too! :3
Same for anime. Sometimes it's slow, but it subconsiously builds up a tension in my mind. And then they come to a climax where they pour out their feelings or misunderstandings for eachother and their anime tears ALWAYS become irl tears for the watcher (at least always for me). XD

I've watched the anime a few months ago, and loved it. Just noticed they do have the manga, in English. So I'll probably pick them up too.

I agree, that's what I really liked about it and what I thought made it stand out a bit more than some right now.
