Ok Crunchyrollers! I am calling for your help. I have a media project to do and I need to get quotes and data and all that stuff from people who know what they're talking about. My research is on how Japanese animation has had an effect on the western world and how it has had influence on our own styles of animation.

What I want to know from you guys is, how do you think it has had an impact on the western world? Mention anything you care to, it'll all come in handy and I thank every one of you who helps in advance.

Avatar -The last airbender- and Boondocks

I believe those shows are already an effect of anime.

As an Azn, I'm afraid I can't answer your question.

is this suppose to be a survey??? or are you to lazy to look for answers?

to answer your question...... there are already enough proofs that japan animation has affected the west, for example their drawing styles. Have you noticed disney shows such as totally spies, martin mystery and avatar?
the way they draw is similar to that of japanese...
plus their comical gestures and actions are similar to that of the japanese animation.

For some previous posters. No, this is not a survey and I'm not allowed to use Wiki as part of my research, I just need to gather opinions.
