I also thougth that when I read the fansub translation, but when I bought the spanish edition and read it full of hope...

I was hoping it too, but now i'm pretty sure he died. And this raw makes this feeling tough.
Hikaru-sama, i don't know where the mistake is, but the two translations have two really different meanings!!!don't you think so?!?
Those says something really different!

Yes, both translations are too diferent, I don't know where is the mistake either, but since I read chapter 78-2, I think that the spanish edition is not wrong, besides this is a official edition (althought the edition is very bad u_u), not fan made.

well i cant get a feeling of him faking his death... i mean the only people who saw his face was 2 people and there are actually cases of people faking there deaths so.. but a bigger part of me is thinking that he is dead and that would be more realistic and Nana is a quite realistic story. By the way seems odd that only the face would be messed up and the rest of his body un harmed whit just a few scratched, dammit dont you have a freaking airbag... anyway think there will always be a part f me that will hope fr it untill the manga is over... |

unfortnately no matter how much I want to believe Ren is truly alive, I honestly think he's dead, gone, never returning. His corpse was identified by Takumi and Nobu, I highly doubt they made a mistake. And this isn't some sci fi manga so anything insane is out of the question.

I don't know if this is really true but what I heard that in the later story, Hachi will name her second born child REN.. But where not yet sure about this information though.. will just have to wait for the story to clarify this info..

second ren it's hachi's son.when the anime finished , they were refering to him.he was the one who stayed with takumi in england.he already appeared in the manga.he looks just like ren.
there is something i don't understand....at the end of chapter 66 someone(a journalist) send hachi a tape and a picture of nana singing. and hachi suspects it's ren.i don't think they ment hachi's son.because he is a kid after all.why would they suspect him>? oh well maybe it is some kind of a joke they make. 
because we already know he is dead |

I noticed something else last time.
I know, Nobu's "Where's Ren? Isn't he coming?" could be about this little Ren, but look at what Yasu said. I doubt that a little kid could be independent, what's more he said "still". ^___^
But the only thing which's bothering me is that the translation can be wrong ...

it sounds pointless for me .___. It's not only 'cause I'm an obsessive fangirl XD But she said that a long time before Ren died (or not xp) It would make any sense of she said that really after that night they meet last time ^^' |
