Hiya Minna-san. Finally, I'm up to tutorials. I can only teach you about photofiltre, because that's the only program i use in photo editing.

Let's use this photo as a sample::::::

First we need to render it. In rendering, I just brush the background and the main pic remained.
(I often use the violet painbrush >w<)
So, this would be the result:::

Minimize the currently pic, and press the new icon. Select 172 x 630 as the size. Then, choose Photomasque for the background. Select a color, and press ok. Repeat it all over again so it will be darkened.

Select the photo, and then right click. You'll see commands, and then choose "Stroke and Fill".

Then, check the Fill box, choose the style, color and below is the fade options. There, you have the background.

Then, go back to the pic. Right click, and choose "Copy". Go back to the background again, and right click then paste. Right click to the photo you pasted, then choose "Paste Options". Check the Tranparency box and then choose the tolerance (I often choose 6). Then ok.

There, you have it.

For decorations, I use this two.
Up.....

Down.....

First, copy the swirls for the up corner. Go back to the product, and then up there you'll see "Edit". Choose "Paste Special" and "Mask". There appears the swirls. To change the color, select a color at the right of you. Then Mak it again. For the down, same procedures.

That's it for today!~
For people who want to share their knowledge, feel free to share it here.

Okay, since minna-san knew already how to edit in photofiltre, I'll teach you about Putting text, Fading photos and ofcourse, Filtering photos.

Adding Text

First, we should download some fonts. Try downloading here:::
http://www.dafont.com/
http://www.1001freefonts.com/

After downloading, you should have WinRAR for unzipping the downloads. Download it here:
http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250_4-10007677.html
Then, after unzipping the downloads, go to control panel. Select Fonts. If you can't see it, on your left you'll see a "Switch to Classic View". Click that and find the fonts.
Copy your downloaded fonts, and paste it on the Fonts folder.

There, you have some fonts. Let's go now in adding text in photofiltre. Let's try adding text in this pic:

Select above. Then, Select Effects. You can choose either, Check Stroke, or check Outer bevel.
If you choose Stoke, you should pic a color. Go back to Text again and choose a color of the text.
Stroke:

Outer Bevel:

Fading Photos

Fading Photos is easy. When you have a rendered pic, you paste it on your editing pic. Just like this:

Minimize the Opacity. There, you know how to fade photos.

Filtering Photos
Choose Filter Above. In Photofiltre, The "Filter" is adding some effects. Like this::
Color > Revive Colors.

Or... Color > Colored Layer > Check the Invert Box.
