Eh, well I used to hate it when my brother would blast Japanese/Korean music, because I told him he couldn't understand it anyways and he was always playing that "So Hot" song by Wondergirls to annoy me because I hate conceited things. But now I'm pretty addicted to Big Bang and DBSK. I kind of learned lyrics aren't what always makes a song haha. But no my parents never said anything about me listening to Asian music, partly because we are Asian, and they listen to Asian music too. They'll probably only get mad if I turn it up all the way though.
But... I used to always listen to Indian music because I loved the songs, and still they never said anything, they think its interesting because my parents always want you to learn new things like languages.

No. My mom loves korean dramas and loves OST to Korean dramas, so she like, "Oh I love that song!" (Thank you, mom! XD) So if I listen to it, my mom and dad don't care. I get to listen to what I want. If I ask them nicely, once in a while they'll buy me a kpop or jpop cd. (:

i know that they think it's weird when i listen to asian music a lot, but they never really get mad at me. they're probably thinking that i'm weird in their heads, though. XD whenever i listen to it, my parents are always saying, "do you even know what they're saying?" sometimes i do because i read the translations haha

well...i think so....when they hear me listen to j-music, they get really crazy...and they would always say...."you can't even understand the lyrics.".....but i don't care at all....i love listening to j-music....that's who i am.....well my elder brother also get crazy when he sees me listening to it too....and he always says...."noooooooo!!!!! my ears are bleeding!!!!".....as i said....i don't care...and besides my brother is one of those who influence me besides my friends.....

well my sister is an extreme otaku so she doesn't care hahaha and my parents don't mind that i'm trying to learn more languages, they encourage it actually lol. My dad was just asking me if I was gonna go live in Japan to work after college.
But the person that does get annoyed with it is my boyfriend cuz he says what everyone that feels weird about it always says, "you don't even understand what they're saying." But I always look up the meaning of the songs before I memorize them haha and he still loves me so he has to deal with it |

both me & my sister have been interested in Japanese culture sines 98 so it has been long time and my mother has long accepted it, but my father is awesome after he know our interest he was (and still) eager to help us, he bought us manga online, tapes to learn Japanese, he have some friend japan who he asked to deliver Music CD(at that time it was ayumi hamasaki hehe).
