I blasted Kpop in my house since I was 13 and my mom and dad didn't really care.. they understood why I liked them more cause of their voices and that they are much more then American artist.. my mom even likes a couple of Korean artist and asks me sometimes to play it for her when I'm visiting 
They understand that music was my escape when I was little (now I feel really old -.-" xD )
and that kpop/jpop gave me something that helped me through Jr. high and High School.. |

I'm asian and they don't really bother me listening to asian music. Sometimes, they ask me why I would listen to J-POP and they told me to listen to K-POP instead. They say it's fine so yea. o-o |

My dad keeps getting mad at me for listening to Jrock >_< He'll tell me to turn it off or that I should learn Spanish instead of Japanese so I can understand the songs T_T And he keeps thinking they're Chinese(lots of people who know me think that actually), and then he thinks Jrockers are gay or something Dx So not true! I think he's just mad because it's different from what he's used to and because I have a super huge on Aoi from the GazettE XD My mom is okay with it I guess.

My parents don't have a problem with anything I do. I've made it very clear to them that I listen to whatever I damn well feel like. The same also applies for other choices I make about myself.

No, because I am Asian.
If there is anything that my mom would get mad at me for, it's ear trash like Lil' Wayne stuff. Thankfully I grew up hating his songs.

I never had that problem. I was already moved out when I got into J-Rock. But I listened to a lot of foreign metal when I lived with my parents. Rammstein, Megaherz, etc. Didn't get any flak from them on that front. Hell, my Mom bought me a pair of tix to see Dir en Grey back in 2010 for my birthday, so yeah.
