why all the American horror movies doesn't have the "horror" like the japanese\korean movies, but gores?

On the latest hollywood horror movies:

where is the horror? all I see are disgusting scenes and kids being used as scary over and over again.
making a movie look disgusting or look like a video game does not make it scary.

Beautiful or ugly: They both have their perks. If its a beauty then it shows off that evil twist it can make people think twice about that sexy blond on the street. If its ugly you add a loud noise and make it jump out and hopefully some girls will close there eyes or shriek.

Korean horror: I don't understand your question. Isn't the creepy naked kid in a korean horror movie? Or is that just in the american one? As to why they are gory because no one gets scared anymore from movies so loud noises and gore are the only way they can get kicks.

Predictable: Well I don't think this applies to horror movies only. Most shows now a days are. There are certain things you HAVE to have if you want it to be called a horror movie.

Big tits: Because the bigger your boobs the smaller your brain in the horror world. The reason she doesn't go out the front door is because she doesn't know how a door works.

Frankenstien: To beat "God" obviousely. To re-animate something would be awsome. No doubt it would try and kill you after but it would be a good time. Plus you could spend some quality time with your henchmen as your digging up the corpses.

Investigation: Well you see its because as the veiwer you know they are going to die but they on the other hand don't. It's like in real life when you kick a ball or something and have to go get it alone technically you could die.

Gore: People don't get scared anymore so add some gore to make them squimish. Or throw in some spiders or snakes or something and people will jump. Loud noises also work really well.

Aren't scary: Your just too brave for the rest of the world.

Lightswitch: usally isnt the light burned out? If not maybe they simply forgot it was dark in the room. I know I walk around in the dark whenever I get the chance.

As for noodles question thats because the northamerican ones are made to go fast and have nudity and gore. Where as other countries usally put a story in that makes you wanna watch, or fall asleep you be the judge.

Why is the pacing for all horror movies so painfully slow? I fell asleep watching Ringu

I can't even answer that. Or can I. It's because people for some reason beyond me acctully liked the movies. In my personal oppinion every copy ever made should be burned and the mention them should be a death penalty.
