one question about horror movies...
Why do they ALWAYS investigate in their UNDERWEAR! WHY?!

I think that a good horror movie depends all on the sound effects, it lets you know that the monster is going to pop up but it still gets you jumpy everytime. If there were no sound effects then you wouldn't be spooked.

why do the people act so hopeless and when they are stuck somewhere like let's say the woods... why don't they just use their cell phones and call the police or help from people they know?! and when they run why do they split up? isn't it better to stay as a group so then you could beat that monster or killer or w/e?

cause it's not for real and the people want to build up suspense

i think horor movies started really sucking after 96

why some Horror movie taken from really story ?

b/c they want people to believe it's true and have nightmares about it happening to them

Why do most horror movies have similiar themes such as little children and the women dying first?

watch shutter its on crunchyroll and it scared the hell outta me

probably b/c they think the women and children cant beat the bad guy or overcome the obstacle(or whatever) so they let the man live to kill the bad guy or overcome the obstacle or whatever else is goin on in the movie

You stole that from the movie Scream, that's what Neve Campbell complains about in one of the scenes and then later does that exact thing because she had locked the front door.

Why has the "horror" genre morphed into the "disturbing" genre? I see a huge difference between something that's scary and something that's disturbing. Scary can be fun, whereas distrubing is just... Well, not fun.

Why wont evil people die after they've been hit with a chainsaw?

Edit: I noticed this before but I see this so many times... All the new movies/series that are released these days... I recognize it all from anime's i've seen.
Yesterday I was watching a movie but it was just like i was watching Elfen-lied only with barbed wire in stead instead of vectors...
And this new serie Heroes... All those abilities are already known in anime's like Naruto etc. If you ask me they're watching anime's in hollywood...

How about they dont make either because both movies were all time low points in each of their respected franchises...not to mention just flat out piss poor movies all in all....seriously...they sucked....bad
