~Frozen Blood~ Genres: Fantasy/Action/Romance/Drama Opening:Via Dolorosa By:Abingdon School Boys Ending:Will By:Nakashima Mika Episode 1:Beginning of Vengeance ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** The sky was cloaked in a blanket of Grey clouds. Snow danced in the wind as wind picked up loose snow from the ground. Trees and boulders were covered in a blanket of snow and the ground. Within the tall log walls of the last hunter clan was a quiet village. Archers looked through tarps that kept the guard towers from filling with snow. A giant log gate remained closed for days due to the storm and few people have been because of this. Houses closed up, tents sealed shut with smoke coming out small vents as small fires were lit inside them as well as the houses. In the center of the cluster of tents and houses was a larger building at least four stories tall. Built from stone and wood, this grand building was the palace of the King and Queen of the hunter clans. But sadly, they no longer live inside its walls. Today they dance with the snow and wind, watching over their only daughter. A fire burned in a large stone fire place inside a well decorated room. On one side of one of the the stone walls was a painting of a great knight slaying a powerful vampire. The painting was in the room of the young princess Faruna, the jewel of all the hunters. But the painting was really a piece done in the name of Farunas father. He gained his might from killing a vampire cheif that brought terror to a hunters village at the base of the mountain years ago. Besides the painting, the heads of rare animals also decorated the wall such as the head of a white wolf. At the end of the room was a large bed with clear curtains and a large blanket with many pillows. Resting on such soft pillows was the head of Faruna with the face of a sleeping angel. Her long charcoal hair went down her back and the large blankets brought warmth to her nude body. At the age of only eighteen, her beauty can easily outmatch any other woman of the village. Outside her door stood a woman who brought up a hand and knocked on the door. "Mistress, it's time to get up." Faruna heard her and pulled the blankets over her head and let out a slight moan. "Come on Mistress, you have to get up now." The woman said as she opened the door slowly to see a bulged under the blankets. Sighing as she saw Faruna covered up she walked over to the bed and grabbed the blanket, pulling it off the bed revealing Faruna. Farunas eyes opened up as the blanket was taken off. Starting to scream she jumped off the bed and hide herself on the other side. "Wh, what was that for!?" She yelled as she had her knees up to her chest and arms crossed. Her eyes looked back at the woman as a mad look came across Farunas face as well as a slight blush. Dropping the blanket the woman went around the bed and looked down at Faruna. "That's what you get for sleeping in. You have to take your bath, eat, and we need to start today's training." "Fine, but stop looking at me." Faruna's voice got low for being embarrassed from someone seeing her naked. "Alright, get your robe on and get to the bath now." Said the woman as she walked away and out of Faruna's room closing the door on her way out. Looking at the door Faruna looked down at the floor and shivered as she got up. Grabbing her robe that hung on a hook from her bed she threw it on and left her room and walked down the wooden floor and stone walls of the hall. The palace had its own hot spring and a well done bathroom. The hot spring was built over as the palace was built. Opening a door Faruna looked upon the hot spring with bath supplies next to the spring. Taking off her rob she dropped it and stepped onto a wooden stool that aloud her to get into the spring more easily. Back laying against the stone edge she released a sigh of relief. "So nice and warm." Steam rose from the water. Sinking into the water a bit she went down till her mouth was in the water and only the nose up was visible. Her charcoal hair floated in the misty water and slowly moved the ripples. Looking up she saw her parents in her head. The kindness of her mother and father coming back to her as she sighed. "Mom, dad. I'm sorry. I was helpless." After her warm bath, Faruna was dried off by her personal servants and was escorted to the main hall, were she ate be herself everyday with her head maid standing beside her. Faruna wished for someone to eat with her, but servants eating with royalty was not allowed, even though the servants were served the same food as the royal family. Looking at her plate, she stared at her meal of meat, grain, and fruit that was in a bowl. To drink was fine wine or water. "Um, I'm, not feeling so hungry right now." "You not feeling well?" Farunas maid asked. "No, I'm just not too hungry." "Please mistress, you must eat something." Faruna looked up at her maid and slightly nodded as she ate slowly starting with the grain portion. As the storm picked up, the view grew worse for the guards in the watch towers. Luckily they wore thick fur coats to keep them warm. "See anything?" A guard asked sitting down with a bow in is arms. Moving a small flap the other guard looked out. "No, nothing. The storm is too thick." "Damn, you know what? I got the feeling that something is gonna go down." After the guard spoke a loud thump was heard on the roof of the tower. "What the hell was that?" There was silence, then a fist broke through the roof breaking the silence. A pair of hands tore the roof apart and the face of a vampire was seen. It screamed in a demonic tone as it spotted the two guards. "Shit!" A guard yelled drawing an arrow and shoot the vampire. The arrow went through its mouth and through its head. Loosing balance the almost dead vampire stumbled back and fell off the tower, landing on the sharp points of the tall village wall. In a second another vampire landed on the roof followed by another. Screaming their brains out as they grew thirsty. "Sound the alarm!" A guard yelled just before one of the vampires grabbed him and lifted him from the tower. The wings of these vampires reached a wing span of at least ten feet long. "You vampire scum!" The captured guard yelled drawing a knife and stabbing the beast in the side. Screaming insanely it opened its mouth and bite the guards neck. Sucking blood from the now dead man, it sucked all the blood it could and threw the body to the snowy ground below. The remaining guard of the first tower grabbed a horn and blew into it. The call went across the village as men came out of barracks and homes with crossbows, spears, swords, and bows. In the sky, dozens of vampires emerged from the mist and screamed. The battle cries of the men merged with the lesser vampires as archers fired arrows. The people of hunter clans were always ready for battle. It would only take a few seconds for a cluster of warriors to form for battle. Blood brought color to the snow below the feet of the men as they killed the demons one by one. Even men were slain in this sneak attack that the vampires organized due to the storm. "Coming at a time like this!" A man yelled as he drew an arrow and fired. "Protect the women and children!" "Protect the princess!" Faruna took a bite of meat and took a drink of wine. The quiet hall remained silent, except for cries that reached the halls of the palace. "Is there something going on?" Faruna asked. "I'm not sure, I'll check." The maid said as she walked to the door and opened it seeing two soldiers run to the door. "Seal the doors, we're under attack." "What!?" "It's a surprise attack. They took advantage of the storm and got us when our gate guards had poor site." "Bastereds." Faruna over heard the conversation and jumped from her seat. "Let me help!" "Are you insane mistress! You are the last of the royal family!" Yelled the maid. Faruna glared at her maid and the guards. Looking down, her knuckles grew white and her face grew light red. The maid walked to Faruna, "Let me take you to your room." Faruna nodded as she started to calm down and walk with her maid to her room. The vampires kept up their end of this bloodshed. But walking through the gates was a man, or as some will call this man, a whole vampire. Whole vampires were once humans then fell under the temptation of vampire blood. As for lesser vampires, they were merely brainless grunts who only looked for blood filled victims. The man was large and had a large built body. His head was bald and a scar was across his left eye. A wing span reaching twelve feet, and torn clothing dressed him as well as rusty spiked wrist bands and a rusty spiked neck collar. A man saw the whole vampire and charged form him, but was punched in the chest, shattering the mans rib cage to pieces and dust. "Kill the princess, kill the humans." The whole vampire spoke. Walking down a hall the maid and Faruna walked for Faruna's room. "Hey, are you good at fighting?" Faruna asked. "No, not really." Faruna smirked, "That's good." She said as she stopped and slammed her elbow in the maids stomach and swinging around throwing the maid against the wall and then ran off. The maid laid against the wall and watched Faruna run off. "Shit." She muttered. Faruna busted through her door and rushed for a closet. Opening up a tall closet she looked upon a suit made of fur, steel, and bandages. Faruna smirked as she looked at the uniform. "Sorry, but I'm tired of being the cause of so many deaths." Faruna said as she started to get undressed. A man was thrown against a tent and the whole vampire slowly marched for the palace. Blood came from small holes from the whole vampires back and chest due to arrows. "Finish off the lesser vampires before going for the whole one!" "Kill them. Leave no human alive." The whole vampire spoke in a deep voice. Faruna put a fur hood over her head as she finished dressing. Legs wrapped up in bandages and for covering her lower legs, bandages covering her arms and fur covering her forearms. Bandages wrapping around her stomach and chest and a fur top that covered her back, chest and made with a hood. And a cloth and fur cloak topped her off as well as snow boots and gloves. Faruna smiled as she grabbed a sword in its sheath and attached it to her belt. The sword was made by her father and was given to her as a gift. The sheath was black and had steel forming a long design that covered most of the sheath. Men gathered in one group as they stood to guard the palace door. "Move aside." The whole vampire spoke. The men stood silent with swords ready and arrows drawn. Their was a silence until the sound of glass shattering broke the silence. The men and vampires looked up to see a figure over head free falling. "Is that?" A man asked. The figure landed hard before the whole vampire and looked up. The whole vampire was struck by the eyes, feeling a seance of fear. "No, no way." The whole vampire thought. Jumping up and landing on the shoulders the figure rose its sword and released a loud battle cry, that sounded like a furious women ready to kill. The sword was brought down, beheading the whole vampire. Seeing the fall of a great vampire the lesser beasts screamed in insanity as they flew away into the clouds above. Standing over the bleeding corpse, the figure looked back at the men and ran off with the sword at hand. "Was, was that, who I thought it was?" A man asked. "No, no way. That is not possible. No one can be unharmed from such a hight and have the strength to decapitate a whole vampire." Another man said. The head maid walked down the hall holding her stomach. A guard saw the maid and ran for her lending her a hand. "The...The princess. She, she has...escaped." She muttered as she held her stomach. Episode 2:Syzon ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** A fire burned as snow slowly fell from the sky. The bodies of the dead vampires burned as people watched the large fire. Outside the gates were dogs and men searching for the missing princess. Heading down a long snowy road with stone rock walls on the side. Running through the snow the men and dogs slowly caught up with Faruna. To the right and left was nothing but a large wall of rock that led to the village deep in the mountain. At the end was a small path leading into the lower dense forests of the mountains. Faruna walked through the snow with her cloak covering her. Coming to the small path she looked down at the forest. Her sight was clear for the moment as she looked out at the snowy trees. Looking back over her shoulder she made sure no one was after her. She heard dogs and men coming closer to her. Sneering she began to run down the mountain side path. Her cloak blowing back as wind kicked up her cloak revealing her other cloths. Reaching the ledge the dogs howled and the men looked at the path seeing a figure run. "There!" A man pointed her out as they to began to run down the path. Faruna looked to her side seeing a straight fall into the forest. Smirking she leaped over and began to free fall. The men stopped and watched her fall. "Damn it!" A man yelled as the men saw her fall into the trees. "Can she survive that?" "No way in hell." "What should we do now?" "Wait a bit, and say we found her dead. Say she was attacked by wolves." One man said looking down the ledge. Turning back, the men and dogs went up the path to by time for their little lie of being unable to capture the princess. A pile of snow was created under a few large trees. The pile shifted as Faruna reached out and dug herself free from the snow. Rubbing her head she looked around see snow and trees. This was her second time being in the forest, her first time was with her father when was very young. It was a huge deep forest that was easy to get lost in. Wolves roamed the forests and it is also said lesser vampires live in the forest, as well as a rare creature that is said to be extinct. "Geez, lucky again." Faruna said getting up to her feet as she brushed snow off her cloak. Stepping further into the snow Faruna wrapped the cloak around her and started her quest through the deep forest. A slight wind blew through the trees as she walked through the nearly dark forest. From time to time snow will fall off the trees and create small snow piles under the branches. In the distant there were the cries of men. Yelling out profanity and the barking if dogs went with the cries. Faruna looked both and ran for cover hiding behind a tree. The noise grew louder as a large figure ran in her direction. It looked human, but two huge spiked objects came out of its back in a curved upward position. The torso large and legs thick as well as the arms, but looked about six feet long. The neck was kinda long and thick with a strange long squared head with small eyes and teeth coming out of the mouth and overlapping the lips. "Kill it!" A cry echoed. In an instant arrows were shot and two shot the tree Faruna was behind. "What the hell is going on?" She asked quietly. The strange beast like form leaped for a tree and started to climb it. Faruna saw the beast climb up the tree and into the snowy branches. Snow fell as it moved branches aside to get higher up into the tree. "Shoot the damn thing!" A man yelled as three men raised their arrows and shot up into the tree. The arrows missed but one seemed to hit its mark when a cry was released. Echoing through the forest the men shivered as that one cry made them pale as ghosts. "Run! Run!" The men cried as they ran off for cover. Faruna was shaken by the demonic cry. Curled up waiting for the peace, she looked over to the tree that the beast crawled up into. Slowly standing up she only saw snow fall from the high branches. Silence filled the forest as she stepped away from the tree. Approaching the tree she looked up to see broken branches, but no beast. "What, was that?" Wind picked up as Faruna wondered the forest. Her cloak keeping her warm a bit she looked around for a spot to stay out of the cold wind. "Man, I should of brought something else to keep me warm and some food also." Squinting she tried to gain more vision for distance and saw nothing, but a flicker of light. "Light?" Faruna thought as wondered in the lights direction. As the light grew brighter within the snowy wind she began to see that she was walking towards what looked like a cabin with smoke coming from a stone chimney. Stepping towards it she looked at it from all sides. "A cabin out here in the woods?" Faruna said to herself. Looking through a window she saw a fire going in a small fire pit. There was also a bed as well as a small table near the fire place. Faruna walked to the door and gave it a small push as it slowly opened. Pokeing her head inside she stepped in to see it was empty. "No ones here." Faruna felt warmth and smiled a bit. "It's warm in here." Faruna pulled back her fur hood and took her cloak off. With her cloak aside she wore only her wrappings and fur clothing. Hearing a small noise Faruna looked at the door to see a young man with wood on his back. "Who, are you?" The man asked. Faruna didn't know what to say so she spat out a quick response. "I'm, um, Faruna." "What are you doing in my home?" "Oh, um, I was just, um, just." Her face started blushing as she grew confused on what to say. The man laid the bundle of fire wood next to the door and closed the door behind him. Faruna took a small step back. "Oh no! He closed the door! No way out! Is, is he, gonna, oh please god I don't want this to happen to me." Faruna began to panic in her head. The man took off a coat he was wearing as well as his shirt but left his pants on. On his body were scars as if he was a soldier before. "I'm guessing you were wondering the forest and got lost, so you found my cabin and saw the door was open guessing you could come in and get warm." He said grabbing a chopped log and throwing it into the fire. "How, how did you?" "I guess you can say I have a, sixth seance." The man smiled a bit. "Go ahead and sit down, get warm." Faruna blushed and watched as he sat down in front of the fireplace. Grabbing a wooden chair she sat down next to him. "So, what's your name?" The man asked. "It's, it's Faruna." "Faruna. Nice name." He looked over to face Faruna with a smile. "My name is Syzon." "Syzon." Faruna looked back with smile. "It's nice to meet you Syzon." Episode 3:Quest ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** Faruna began to open her eyes slowly. Her eyes glanced up at a window above her on the wall. It was grew out since clouds blocked the sun mostly and the forest seemed to be very thick and dense. As she started to wake up she saw that she was in a bed with covers over her. Sitting up she saw Syzon sitting by the burnt out fire, asleep. Smiling a bit she began to see him being a nice guy. He allowed her to stay at his place for awhile and gave her the bed to sleep in as well as food and water. Faruna got out of bed and stretched out. Reaching for her cloak she stepped outside into the snow and looked up into the trees. "You shouldn't be outside." Faruna looked back to see Syzon standing at the door. He walked out into the snow with bare feet, stitched up pants and no shirt. "Sorry, I just came out for some fresh air." "I see. That's good." Faruna looked at Syzon and couldn't help but look at all the scars on his body. "So, where did you get all of those scars?" Faruna asked. "Fights, hunts, stuff like that." "I see." "Now since you asked me something personal, tell me why you're out here." Faruna sighed and didn't reply for a moment. "I...Ran away." "And you end up in this forest. Not the smartest place to run off to." "Well, I didn't have much of a choice." Faruna giggled a bit scratching the side of her head. "No, you always have a choice." "Yeah well, in my situation." "Doesn't matter. In the face of death, there's a choice. You chose to come here, you chose to stay here, you chose to run away." Faruna shrugged and felt a bit stupied getting a lecture from someone she just met last night. Syzon turned around to go back inside since the wind began to pick up. "Better get inside." "Uh, okay." Faruna said following him inside. As the wind blew, snow was blown around concealing the figures in the tall trees. Faruna sat on the ground infront of the fire with Syzon next to her. "So you are the daughter of the clan's king. Never thought I'd see you and in a place like this." "Well, my mom and dad are both dead and too many people have died protecting me. So I ran away." "There's gotta be more than that. Is there another reason you left?" Faruna was quiet and smiled. "Yeah. My parents were killed by vampires. So I'm out here to kill the main vampire." Syzon started laughing. Faruna blushed and got a bit mad from his laughter. "It's not funny!" "I'm sorry, but you taking on Hiken?" "Hiken?" "That's his name. I've seen him a few times years ago." "What did he look like?" "Like a normal human. But no where close to being one. He is monster, and always will be." "What else do you know?" "He is a whole vampire, or I think he is still." "What? What do you mean still? He can change?" "Oh yeah. There's a ritual that grants a whole vampire ultimate power. By absorbing the blood of 200 virgin women, they can become a true vampire. Gaining the right to immortality, the power of god has no affect on them, and only two things will be able to kill you." "Those would be?" "Another true vampire, or a vampire eater." "Hey, I've heard of those. Vampire eaters were really strong right?" "Right. In fact I've seen one before. And I believe there is one in this forest." "I thought they were all dead." "Guess not. There are a few left in the world, but are hiding from the world." "You sure do know a lot." Faruna complimented. Syzon smiled but looked up at the ceiling after hearing a thump. "You hear that?" "Yeah." There was silence. The wind stopped, and only the crackling fire made sound. A fist broke through the ceiling and tore away creating a large hole. A vampire poked its head through the hole and started yelling as did the others behind it. "Shit." Syzon got up and grabbed a sword that was near him. Drawing the blade he threw it up and sent the blade through the vampires mouth and out the back of its head. Leaping up he jumped through the ceiling and took back his blade. The beasts yelled in insanity and spread their wings. "Syzon!" Faruna yelled out. "Get out of here!" Faruna shrugged and just realized that he might die because she was here. Because the beasts are after her. She closed her eyes and bite her lower lip. She turned for the door but stopped and opened her eyes, seeing red. Grinding her teeth she made a sound of building rage under her breath as she reached for her own sword and drew it. Looking up sh esaw the beasts and leaped up, breaking through the ceiling and spreading her legs to land on the ceiling without falling through the new hole. Syzon looked at Faruna and a chill went up his spin. "Fa, Faruna?" The vampires ignored Syzon and screamed as they fly up and dove down to her. Smirking, Faruna kicked one Vampire in the face shattering its skull from the front and used her blade to cut down the the ones that came into reach. One more dove down but Faruna used her blade to slice the beast right down the middle. Syzon was frozen. He was amazed by her movements but was scarred also. He looked at her figure seeing her covered in dark red blood. Her blade in her hand and her eyes a bright red. "Faruna?" Syzon tried to move, but was stiff. "This feeling, what is this? I have felt this before, but never like this." Faruna stepped forward and came closer to Syzon with a smirk on her face. Stopping in her tracks she fell to her knees and dropped her sword as she looked up into the cloudy sky. Her eyes closed, and her sight was consumed by darkness. Syzon looked into the fire that lit the small cave. Beside him laid Faruna laying on a small mat and having a fur blanket over her. Her wet cloths laid near the fire as they dried since Syzon washed the blood from them. Syzon couldn't help but look at her sleeping face. "How could someone like her, have such a thing flowing through her?" He thought as he sighed. Looking out of the cave he saw the snow continuing to fall. "We'll leave once the snow stops, but for now, rest up Faruna. You need it." A ruined church was on the outskirts of the forest. This church had no roof and most of its walls are gone. A large cross in the front was torn apart and two figures stood in front of it, both standing in a concrete hole about 2 inches deep. A man held a young woman in his arms as his mouth was pressed on her neck. Blood ran down her neck and down her bare back, dripping into the blood beneath their feet. The young woman had tears in her eyes as her life slowly left her body. The man pulled his teeth from her neck and looked up as the girls body went limp in his arms. "Almost. I'm almost finished." The man spoke as he smirked showing large bloody fangs. Lesser vampires were perched on the the ruined walls and benches as they watched as the man dropped the body, letting her land in the blood. "Power, and immortality, shall be mine." Episode 4:Midnight Feast ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** The forest laid silent. The wind was gone, the snow remained on the ground. All was silent accept for crunching from footsteps stepping into the snow. Syzon and Faruna walked through the snow as they made their way to a small village that was said to be near by. "I can't believe you forgot food." Faruna complained. "Hey, I had no time to get anything. I just grabbed what was needed the most." Faruna grew a impatient childish face as she followed Syzon from behind. "Are we there yet?" "Geez you're annoying." Syzon teased. "Hey, I'm a woman and I don't like walking around this forest in the snow for so long." "Sorry to hear that. But if you keep whining you won't be able to use the hot spring they have." "Hot spring?" Faruna lost her pouty face and grew a happy one. "That's right. An indoor hot spring." "Okay, I won't be so annoying anymore." "So you admit to being annoying?" Faruna blushed realizing what she just said of her self. "It's not too far. Just hang in there for a bit longer Faruna." A fire lit a large cave that was located on top of a cliff on the outskirts of the village. Two figures sat near the fire while one looked outside the cave. "How long do you plan on standing there?" A woman's voice spoke. "As long as I feel like." A mans voice replied. One other man laughed to himself a bit as his eyes looked over at the man near the entrance. In the back of the cave laid darkness, were a horde of hungry demons waited growing more impatient by the minute. "Ah! I can't go on any more!" Faruna dropped to her knees and started whining again. "Damn it Faruna, stop complaining. We're here alright." Faruna looked forward and saw before her a small village. Her face lit up as she held her hands together. "Finally! Food, water, and a nice hot spring. Faruna got up and began to walk towards the village. Syzon sighed as he followed after her. As Faruna looked around the quiet, white village, she saw that it was empty. No one was to be seen. "Hey Syzon, where is everyone?" "They may be inside. Would you want to be out here?" "I don't know. Guess not. It is kinda cold to be out. Colder than usual." "You're right." Syzon looked up towards the hills and glared. "This feeling. Where have I felt this before?" Syzon thought. "Syzon! Hurry up!" Faruna called out. "Yeah yeah I'm coming." Snow fell and made the hills blurry to the naked eye. "Seems like we have been found out." A man spoke looking back into the cave. "Bull shit. Who on earth can see us up here?" Another man spoke yet with a younger sounding voice. "Who said it was a human?" "What do you mean? An animal?" A woman asked. "You can say that. It sure is an animal when it's mad." The man at the cave entrance smirked looking down the hill. "I haven't felt this presence for years. This should be interesting." The man started to laugh a bit. An old bald man with a long thin beard, wearing a grey robe kneeled down on a pillow with a young woman with short black hair wearing a white Kimono kneeling beside him. Syzon and Faruna also kneeled down on a pillow with a table separating the four. "It's not very often we get visitors in our village. So what brings you here?" "We actually came here to take break and hopping to get some supplies." "Hmm, well, you are more than welcome to stay the night here but I'm afraid we can not give you what you may need. We will allow to eat here and relax, but we that is all we can offer." "I see." Syzon sighed. "Why can'y you spare any supplies? Is there a lack or you can't get any?" "Faruna, don't ask that kind of question." Syzon said looking over at her. "No no, it's alright for her to know. You see young lady, we've been having a little problem and due to this we can't leave our homes. So we have stocked up on what we have and must use it for the most important situations." "Well what is keeping you all inside?" Faruna asked. The old man did not reply, yet the young girl did. "Vampires." The answer got Syzon's and Faruna's attention. "These vampires have been attacking our people. Our men have been able to hold them off and our special roofs have made it hard for them to make sneak attacks. To protect our people we have been hiding in our homes and have stocked up on everything the village had." "You have quiet a problem here. Can you say what they looked like, or what kinds they made?" Syzon asked. "Well, most were really dark and skinny. And they screamed a lot." "Lesser vampires." Faruna mumbled. "But on the last attack, there three people. Two men and a woman. One big man, a skinny man, and a slim woman. The large man had short hair. The skinny man had a strange hair due. His hair was spiked up and in a straight line with the left and right side of his hair gone. And the women wore a cloth skirt and top and had really long violet hair with bangs going over her right eye." "You guys are dealing with three whole vampires." Syzon crossed his arms as he felt pity for the people who lived here. "Whole vampires?" "They were human before. But were bitten by vampires. When another whole vampire bites a human, they inject thei rown blood into the human as well as sucking out human blood. The vampire blood in a human will soon take control in a few years. After a few years they will begin to act strange, and begin to loose their mortality. Thus falling under the vampire bloods will and become a vampire themselves." "That information will be of no use to us." The old man spoke. "Grandpa, don't be rude." The woman said. "What we need to know is how long will we survive? When is the next attack? And how do we kill such creatures?" "I don't know. Three whole vampires can prove to be a big problem." "The lesser vampires are of no problem. Just kill them like any other animal." Faruna looked out a window seeing the snow fall and seeing nothing but a white scene. "We are well prepared for these, lesser vampires. But those three others are to powerful. If you can aid us we will repay you with everything you need." The old man said as he started stroking his long beard. "Um, I guess we can help. But." Syzon looked over at Faruna seeing she was daydreaming while looking out the window. He remembered the previous day of how Faruna acted when they were attacked by lesser vampires. "Will she, act like that again? If so, can she kill them?" Syzon thought. "Alright, we'll help." "What?" Faruna snapped out of if and looked at Syzon. "Thank you. You are helping us greatly. The more the better." The girl bowed down and smiled. "It's nothing. But, is it alright if we can use your hot spring? It's been awhile since we had a bath." "Of course. If you'll follow me then." The woman rose and lead Syzon and Faruna out of the large room. Syzon was in the water with the water up to his neck from his sinking. As for Faruna she leaned back against the wooden edge with a smile of relief. "I can't believe that they have only one bath." Syzon complained. "Who's complaining now?" Faruna teased. "Besides, why are you so embarrassed?" "Why do you think? We're in the same bath for gods sake." "Geez, such a child. How old are you anyway?" "Twenty. You?" "Eighteen." Syzon was quiet and his eyes faced the opposite wall away from Faruna. "You need to relax, you know that?" Faruna scooted behind Syzon. The movement of the water told Syzon she was behind him. All of a sudden Syzon felt soft hands grab his shoulders. "You're too tight. Loosen your muscles." Faruna demanded. Syzon turned red and did as she said. Beginning to massage his shoulders, Faruna looked at his back and as she focused on massaging his shoulders. "Ouch." "I told you to loosen up." Faruna said as she stopped for a moment and continued. After the two finished bathing they retreated to the room they were given for the night. Food and drinks were brought to them as well as futons to sleep on for the night. Still red, Syzon ate with his attention on his meal. Faruna looked at Syzon with a worried look as she held her glass rice bowl in one hand and a pair of chopsticks in the other. "Um, Syzon." "Yeah?" "Is everything okay?" "Yeah. Why?" "Your face is still red. And you've been quiet since we left the bath." "I'm just tired." Syzon lied through his teeth. Puffing her cheeks she grew mad. "You lier. What's the matter!?" "You should be quiet. We're guests and it's not good for us to be loud." She made a little sound showing how mad she was getting. Placing her bowl down she got up to her feet. Looking down at Syzon she saw that he still only looked at his food. "I'm going to bed." Faruna stated as she started to walk off past Syzon. Feeling a bit of guilt, Syzon placed his food down and got up. "Now wait just a minute Faruna." Syzon said reaching for her arm. While turning he got his foot caught on his other foot and tripped bringing Faruna down with him. A thump sound was made as the two feel to the ground. Syzon got up and saw that he was over Faruna. His face grew bright red as he looked down at her. "I...I..." Syzon could speak. Faruna looked up at him with wide open eyes. His action shocked her, but she soon smiled and her eyes closed a bit. "You're more daring then you look." Faruna said. "But...I didn't mean to..." "I know. But still. Don't let such silly emotions get to you. For some reason I understand how you feel right now. You have never been this close to someone, so you don't know how to act." Faruna smiled sweetly. Syzon looked to the side a bit in embarrassment. "Now then, mind getting up?" "Oh, yeah, sorry." Syzon got up to his feet and put his hand out to help her up. Taking his hand, Faruna got to her feet but stumbled a bit and ended up against him. Her arms wrapped around him and her head laid against his chest. "Thank you, Syzon. You've been so nice to me." Syzon nodded slightly and slowly wrapped his arms around her. Darkness filled the forest, no snow fell from the sky, and a great full moon looked down at the earth. Faruna laid in her futon asleep while Syzon leaned against the wooden wall looking out the window and up at the full moon. A sword was under his arms as he remained awake, waiting for the strike to take place. Within the forest were dozens of lesser vampires slowly approaching the village. Three human looking figures looked down at the village from the edge of a cliff. Dozens of lesser vampires waited on the cliff for the man to make his move. "The time is right. Midnight has come, and we hunger. It's time for our midnight feast." Said the large man, showing his large blood sucking fangs. Episode 5:Night of Screams ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** "Syzon." "Yeah?" "Can you promise me something?" "Um, sure. What?" "Make sure you don't get yourself killed out there." Syzon smiled and started laughing. "What's so funny!?" "Don't worry about it. I'll be fine. I'm worried for you. Make sure you don't yourself killed." "I won't. Besides, I made it by myself through the forest remember?" Syzon remembered the conversation they had before they got into their positions. Darkness filled the village. Men hide behind the walls with their bows and arrows and bowls of vemon to dip their arrows. Syzon was with a group of swordsmen as they waited for the beasts to make their move. Faruna was with another group of swordsmen, waiting for the signal. "Have you fought a horde of vampires before?" A swordsman asked Syzon with a quiet voice. "Oh yeah. I was part of some serious conflicts." Whispered Syzon. "I see. I guess you might be of use to us then." The man responded quietly. Silence filled the area. People could tell that the moment has finally come. In an instant a massive horde of beasts flew up out of the trees and began to scream in insanity. "Fire!" A man yelled as venom dipped arrows were shot into the air. Dodging the arrows, the lesser vampires in the sky flew towards the village but some were shot by the arrows. In the head, chest, arms and legs, some were safe and some fell dead back into the forest below them. "Keep firing!" A man yelled as the sword armed men stayed in the buildings till a frontal assault was in affect. The beasts stayed in the sky and tried to dive down but ended up getting shot down by the archers. But they began to land and charge by foot. Attacking by foot and sky the vampires mad the situation more difficult for the people of this village. "Men! Attack!" Men wearing chest plates and having long blades charged for the vampires. Limbs flew off the vampires rotting bodies and the men had the advantage. For some reason though, the vampires countered again by diving down and attacking the foot soldiers. "I thought these bastards were suppose to be dumb!" An archer yelled. "I thought so too! But just keep firing." Another archer yelled back. They were right. The lesser vampires were suppose to be brainless minions, but they were getting smarter. They first attacked from the air, then attacked by land. Now they started to kill the soldiers by diving down and killing them in the air. Syzon slashed at another vampire and felt a strong presence. "Where? Where is this coming from? I know there's a strong being here, just from the fact that these creatures are too smart. But where the hell is it?" Syzon thought as he looked in all directions. He felt a power but was unable to pinpoint it. Faruna looked out a window to see nothing but an empty courtyard. She was told to watch for sneak attacks. Looking up she saw something glide down and land softly in the courtyard. Large wings folded into the figures back and the thing looked at Faruna. It was a woman with violet hair and a slim figure. She grinned and licked her nails bearing her fangs. "Vampire!" Faruna yelled out. Men rushed for her window and took aim, but stopped. "A, a woman?" "No, a vampire!" The woman walked to the window getting closer and closer. Seeing her fangs, the men freaked and started to shoot their venomous arrows. Dodging the arrows the woman leaped for the window with her shoes landing on the window ledge. Grabbing the mens throats she crushed their necks and stepped into the room see women scream in terror. Faruna was on her rear and scooted back against the wall. "Go, go away!" She yelled. The vampire stepped close and stopped. She was frozen in shock and her eyes looked down at Faruna. "You. No, no way. It can't be." The vampire showed her teeth and released a scream of madness. "Die!" Faruan watched in horror as the sharp claws of the vampire came down to her face. Her heart pulsed a large beat, and her hand grabbed the vampires wrist. "What?" The vampire pushed down but did nothing. Faruna slowly got to her feet and looked up with a look of pure evil. Her teeth showing in a demon like smile and her eyes of blood red. The vampire looked at Faruna's neck and got her answer. "Damn it. So you're one of them huh!?" The vampire rose her other fist and tried to punch Faruna. Releasing the vampires wrist she ducked and rammed her body into teh vampire slamming her into the wall. Blood shot from the monsters mouth as Faruna shattered ribs in the vampires body. "No, no way." The vampire said as she grew limp. Faruna stood up and looked down at the dead vampire, or whole vampire as she was. Faruna's face was filled with evil, filled with pure terror. Syzon killed another lesser vampire and looked up the hill to see darkness. But then a figure flew over head with a massive wing span. This vampire like creature was another whole. A mohawk, and torn cloths with black steel boots. Walking to the edge of the hill was a large figure with a muscular body. He too had a wing span of great length, even bigger than the others. His arms crossed and a smirk on his face, the man looked at Syzon. "So. I finally found you, Syzon." The man said as she watched Syzon looked back at him. "You." Syzon said as he glared at the man. As people and lesser died around them, a great hate grew between the two men as they only looked at each other. Faruna was out cold and women gathered around her. They felt the evil was gone and watched over her. "Look." A woman pointed at Faruna's neck. "Is that what I think it is?" "Yeah. I never thought I'd see one with my own eyes." The women did not fear her, but hoped she would wake up from her sleep. The marking on her neck was now gone, and would not show again, unless she went berserk once again. Episode 6:Blood Mark ** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show** Syzon finished killing another lesser vampire. A strong presence struck him and he looked for the source. Upon the hill stood a large man with short and spiky silver hair. "Syzon. I've found you." The man spoke. "You. What are you doing here!?" Syzon yelled as he stepped forward. "I have come visit you dear Syzon. At first it was for a snack, but it seems you came here and there was a change in plans. It's been so long since we last saw each other." "I was hoping you would of stayed away from me, Trei." "Why would I stay away from you? I would seek you out than stay away. The power you have, the strength, the speed, it was god like. Please, show me that power of yours again Syzon." Trei said as he began to walk down the hill slowly with his arms at his sides. Syzon rose his blade and kept his ground. "Get out of here Trei! This is your last chance!" Syzon threatened. "You dare threaten me? Silly boy. That won't work. I was a half blood when we last spoke, now I'm a whole. I am a more powerful beast than before." Trei grinned as his massive wings spread open with a twelve foot wing span. His fangs grew and his eyes grew red as blood. "Come on, try to stab me." Trei's voice grew demonic. His own voice was mixed with deep voice of demon. Syzon gripped his blade and released a roar as he stabbed Trei. The blade went through but left Trei laughing. "Is that it Syzon?" Trei grabbed Syzon's wrist and threw him aside. Taking the blade out of his chest he dropped it and his wound healed quickly. "If you want to kill me, then show me your power!" Syzon was on all four with his fists in the snow. Grinding his teeth, Syzon looked down at the ground. Faruna was on his thoughts and he only thought of protecting her. "Faruna." Syzon whispered. Tears fell from his eyes, and his eyes opened to show beast like eyes. Darkness filled the empty world. It was cold, lonely, and empty. Faruna stood in this world alone, surrounded by bodies of vampires. Blood was the earth, death was the air. And around her stood beasts with massive stone like horns sprouting from their backs. Long and thick necks and long heads with squinting eyes. Tails longer than their bodies and arms as thick as their horns. They put their weight on their arms and seemed like gorillas in the way they stood. Shacking in fear, she held her left arm and looked at the beasts as they looked back at her. One after another they disappeared, but one remained. It was ahead of her and it slowly took form of a human. Her eyes shook, and the world became a bright light. Opening her eyes Faruna looked up at the ceiling. her head rested on a pillow and three women kneeled beside her. The cries of men came from outside as more men died as did vampires. "Are you okay?" A woman asked. "Syzon...Where's Syzon?" Faruna asked. "He's outside. He's still fighting the vampires. But you should stay here where it's safe." A woman looked at the wall where the dead female vampire laid with blood coming from her mouth and nose. Her eyes were closed and her face seemed like a woman who was depressed from a great failure. Sitting up slowly Faruna looked at the body and shook a bit. "What happened?" She asked. "You don't remember?" Faruna shook her head and rubbed her shoulder then neck. "I don't, remember anything." Pieces of a vampire flew everywhere. The head was nothing but blood and chunks as were the rest of the body. Syzon was hunched over and his eyes shacking. "That's it! Yes Syzon! More!" Trei yelled as he laughed seeing Syzon rip the lesser vampires apart. Looking back, Syzon was more monster than human at the moment. "Trei." Syzon groaned. Trei grinned and opened his arms. "Come on Syzon!" Syzon roared and charged for Trei, but a skinny vampire with a mohawk dropped down from the dark sky and stood in the way. "Out of my way!" Syzon cried. Raising his fist he punched the man and crushed his skull and jaw. Blood sprayed from his mouth, nose, and ears. Leaping over the dead body Syzon dove down at Trei and slammed his fists into Trei's. They stood still and gave pressure to their arms trying to push each other back. "Is this all Syzon? You're not showing me your full power now are you?" "I won't, release it. Not now, not ever." Syzon said as he glared at Trei. Trei returned the glar to Syzon getting impatient with him. Faruna looked out a window seeing the fighting go on. The battle was coming close to it's conclusion, but there was one battle left. Syzon had to defeat Trei or the battle would be lost. "Syzon, where are you?" Faruna whispered. Looking around she saw only bodies and blood stained snow from the window. Moving to another window she kept low to avoid being spotted. But from the new window she was at she saw Syzon fighting Trei. "Syzon." Her eyes got big in shock seeing how Syzon acted. Falling onto one knee Syzon was loosing strength. "Pathetic. You are so weak Syzon. You havn't gotten stronger at all!" "Damn it." Syzon thought. He pushed up as much as he could but was not strong enough to push Trei back. Trei grinned but a sharp shock went down his back. He felt uneasy and looked to the side a bit to see Faruna in the distance. She looked for Syzon and her eyes met Trei's, and there she saw Syzon. Syzon looked back at Faruna and he got weaker from the situation. "Fa, Faruna." Syzon whispered to himself. "That girl. Who is she?" Trei thought to himself. "You are too weak. Be gone!" Trei picked up Syzon and threw him aside. Falling into the snow, Syzon was weak and had trouble getting up. He saw Trei walk towards Faruna and he began to panic. "No! Stay away from her you bastard!" Faruna did nothing but look at Trei as he approached. "You. You have a strange essence around you. I seance a great power inside you girl." Faruna listened but was still scared. She hasn't been this frightend for a long time. "Go, go away." Faruna said in a soft voice. Men shot arrows at Trei but had no affect. "Be gone!" Trei yelled as he charged the groups of archers ripping their bodies apart. Faruna fell down and backed away. She got to her feet and looked down grabbing a sword that was in the hands of a killed warrior. "Get back!" Trei grunted and stepped towards Faruna. Faruna stabbed Trei but the sword bent against his body. "What!?" A large hand grabbed Faruna's wrist and rose it into the air. "Don't struggle girl. I don't want to hurt you." Trei grinned as he pressed a finger on her neck. "You have it. You bear the marking." He pressed on her neck more and made Faruna release a cry of pain. "Stop it!" Syzon yelled as he got to his feet and charged for Trei but fell down again. Trei's tongue escaped his lips and he licked Faruna's cheek with his long tongue. "You have something special too. Show it to me. Show it now." Faruna shivered and cried. "Let me go!" Faruna struggled and tried her best to get away, but failed. Faruna's heart gave one large beat that echoed through her body. Then another beat echoed. Her eyes opened wide and she began to breath deeply. On her neck, the marking the women inside saw began to show. On her neck were two small marks. Two side ways tear drop shapes that were blood red. Eyes turning red and beast like, her other self began to come back out. "No, Faruna." Syzon said as he crawled to the two of them. Trei released her wrist and stepped back. On his face was a large grin of great excitement. "Yes! Yes! That's it!" Trei laughed as he saw the essance around Faruna grow and grow. Faruna looked up with a grin and blood red eyes with sharp eyes. "Another one. How sweet. I hope you're not as weak as that other bitch." Faruna said with a grin. |
