About Thai names being so long is because Thai people didn't have surname or last name like other Asian culture back in the days. Sometime in the early 1900s last name became madatory. And the Thai law only allow one last per family, meaning people of the same last name had to be related. Most Thai last name have some sort of meaning to them that would bring the family prosperity. So Thai people had to come up with different combination, so that the names aren't duplicated, thus making the names longer and longer.

yeah, i noticed that that child actors/actresses are rare in Korea...which could be a good thing, depending on how you look at it.

here are some things i'm curious about:
-why is there always at least one piggy-back ride scene in a kdrama? hehe, i'm not saying it's bad, i actually really like it, it's cute!
-what does kibimbap taste like? every time i see the actor/actress eat it, i get a sudden craving for it... they make it look so delicious...

i know right?? i even researched the recipe online and the reason why they have an orange color is because of the chilli paste so i guess it's spicy.

I'm curious about the gangs in korea....do they act the same way as they are portrayed in the movies? Are there many gangs? oh and is it mandatory for korean actors to know how to beat up a whole gang? haha I think its funny that in most korean gang movies that I have seen...there is a guy that can beat 10 other guys that have bats or pipes...it seems unlikely but its pretty hot to watch :-).

i'm curious why koreans always shout
when they are talking special
if someone's saying goodbye..

i'm curious why in every drama there's always
a scene where the actor/actress will be stilled shot
and a voice over will be heard
contemplating something

i'm curious why there's always a car chase,
removing of batteries of cellphones, eating too much,
drinking too much

i'm curious why koreans kiss in an odd way..y'know..
like they hate what they are doing but heck,
they need to kiss

and how come taiwan actors/actresses can kiss that good
and other asian actors/actresses don't follow it

how come w/ these curiousity,
i'm still addicted to asian drama? funny right?
heheheh
