Yea, honestly, his fights have been annoying me. Right in the beginning of every fight, he goes into his Bankai form. His bankai just seems so damn weak. So weak that he's forced to use his vaizard form. And yea it looks really cool and he's really powerful but all he every does is Getsuga Tenshou. We're already up to episode 196 and he still hasn't learned any new moves. Ulquiorra's awesome and I think that it's pretty lame that Ichigo will most likely get to beat him without learning any new skills. Granted that Ichigo's reiatsu is higher than Ulquiorra's, Ulquiora is still at a much higher skill level.
He needs to learn more sills for his bankai, and cero certainly would be a nice edition to his vaizard form.
Also on a side note, what is up with his speed? That's supposed to be one of the great things about his Bankai, his super speed. It's supposed to be quicker than fast steps. It seems this high speed was only utilized when he fought Byakuya. Since then, he hasn't really used it.

Agreed. He's cool, but definitely needs to use Bankai/Vizard forms to their full potential. And he REALLY needs some hand-to-hand combat skills. Put him in a ring without his Zanpakuto, and he's tko'ed in 2 seconds flat. Could take some lessons from Ippo, or Mugen! LOL

what makes it worse is that fact he has sooo much un-tapped power at his beck and call but the fact that he decided to be all EMO about "losing himself" he continues to get owned in fights...even at this stage in the Manga he isn't even fit to lick Aizen' shadow...so sad... |

Ichigo's Bankai speed is undoubtedly fast but right now by episode 196, his speed is not so great because u hardly find any slow/weak espadas or shinigami around thats why, his speed only looked incredibly fast at the time he fought with byakuya because of the fact that their level was at that ^_^

I can understand that, but at the same time, does all these characters fight at speeds above Flash steps? Like Flash steps is generally the pinacle of speed. Ichigo's bankai makes him faster than flash steps. You'd think he'd be able to someone use this speed to his advantage. Idk, just feel like that's one of the special things about his Bankai, if it's not an asset, then his bankai is just even more terrible.
