All right there seem to be different opinions on GazettE's secret live. Here are the offical news reprts from various sties (source: GazettE's OHP)
ニュース http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081115-00000009-oric-ent http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081116-00000000-dal-ent http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081116-00000031-sanspo-ent http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081116-00000047-spn-ent http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081117-00000021-cdj-musi スポニチ http://www.sponichi.co.jp/entertainment/news/2008/11/16/03.html デイリー http://www.daily.co.jp/gossip/2008/11/16/0001569829.shtml サンスポ http://www.sanspo.com/geino/news/081116/gnj0811160504003-n1.htm オリコン http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/confidence/60114/full/ CDジャーナル http://www.cdjournal.com/main/news/news.php?nno=21460 listenJAPAN http://listen.jp/store/musicnews_25397_all.htm livedoor http://news.livedoor.com/article/detail/3902288/ Anyway foacaccina on Livejournal translated the news report from oricon's website: the GazettE Shinjuku Street Live Gathers 7000 people, the most in history, had to be forcefully stopped. Visual Kei Rock Band, the GazettE on the 15th(Sat), held their first secret live at Shinjuku Station Square. Approximately over 7000 people, the most in history, turned up at said location for the event, where the GazettE played their new single [LEECH] and performed both songs with much enthusiasm. But having gathered too many attendants, at this unusual situation, the local police were forced to issue a cease and desist after only 2 songs were preformed. The new song [LEECH], on the 12th of this month, managed to top the Oricon Singles Daily Chart at 1st place and the band has gathered popularity beyond the Visual Kei Rock Scene. Thought it was secret live, fans had filled up the surroundings across the road in front of Shinjuku Alta, despite being a few hours before the live started and the security around the venue reported that the traffic situation was abnormal. As the members entered the stage, it was like a string of excitement was cut as the audience burst into maniacal cheers. As the vocalist Ruki shouted, “Tokyo! Shinjuku! Come and get it!!!” to fuel the crowd, and a storm of head banging begun, shrouding Shinjuku in a bizarre sight. The local police commented that “It would be dangerous to continue” and proposed that the live be stopped after the 2nd song was preformed. As the crowd cheered for an encore with a resonant voice, being emotionally moved, one by one, the fans broke into tears. here's her LJ: http://focaccina.livejournal.com/ Anyway before anyone spreads any more rumours I just want to emphasise that the live itself wasn't illegal but it was stopped by the police becuase the size of the crowd was too dangerous and they had to intervene before it went out of control/someone hurt. And for the record the police themselves didn't take GazettE offstage but the staff members did. You can see it in this vid: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hrJWGpn7pLY&feature=related |

All right and now here's my opinion. I think this whole incident was EPIC. I mean not only did it show how popular GazettE have actually become and how devoted their fans are (I mean fans actually broke into tears at the end of the live) but the attitide Aoi and Ruki showed when they were dragged of the stage was AWESOME. I mean I agree w/ a few people on LJ when they said that was so damn rockstar!! And yes I don't feel like a dork for saying that and I'm PROUD of the GazEmen <3 ^_^
Anyway this was just my opinion don't take it seriously or take it for officially or anything ^^;; |

Ahh you don't sound like a fan girl at all..and if you do then so do I xD and I agree GazE really are dedicated to their fans. Just this whole incident has just reminded me of how they've all grown as a band and that they have that true rockstar spirit! True to their fans and breaking health and safety regulations on the way xD Hmm and I guess GazE are true to their motto as well. they really are a heresy of their generation [平成の異端児集団 - Heisei no itanji shuudan] |

Hmm and I know what you mean about GazE....I really do go crazy over them at times.. And what you said does make sense! When you get to know the bandmembers personalities and see how the members interact and grow as a band over time it really does make them seem more human in the sense we know what they've been through to some extent to get there. And unattainable in the sense that even though we know of the steps they've gone through to get where they are they're still at that celebrity level. And ther increasing popularity makes it more so. Hmm its like we feel really close to them reading interviews and so on but at the same time we know that they're at a different level to us.xD sort of like 2 sides to them in a way. |

Ahh the EPIC live! MY GOSH RUKI ROCKS!!!! *clears throat*
I loved that. I have to admit when I saw Ruki push that crew member away, I was total awe. Because I never thought he'd do that. But, I was also like 'he wants to sing, so let him finish'. His attitude at that moment made me admire him 10x's more then I already do. And Aoi, as for him and his 'bring it on' attitude, it was unbelievable. I could understand why they were so upset though at the end. I mean planning this special even and then having it stopped so suddenly must've made them feel awful. Besides this, I really don't want to start a fight with anyone. But, I was offended by certain fans over the net. During a conversation with a fellow GF member. We had a convo of how other fans were blaming the GazettE for this incident with stopping the live. Honestly, I have no idea why someone would blame them. Considering the fact that they were the ones who wanted to hold this surprise for their fans. Seriously people, it was sad hearing about that. Because like PeaceWing said earlier, they did this live despite the fact that they may get hurt. They could've been like, 'I don't want to do this', but instead they were happy to do it. This live was amazing, I am glad and very proud for the GazettE for doing this. They are true ROCKSTARS! VIORENSU!!! |

I love them so much. They owned that stage completely, even if it was just two songs. They looked like such rock stars in that moment at the end. As though they didn't already.
