If Crunchyroll really removes the fan made subs and start airing anime from affiliated companies like Gonzo, then i would stop supporting this site.... why the hell should I support it if they don't have my favorite anime????

What?!?

tl;dr sorry... put stuff like that in a spoiler tag next time? Because my fingers hurt
but the picture was freaking hilarious

...Wait, why is this happening again? This gibberish crap has been going on for days, I even forgot what's it all about. I have high doubts stuff like this will happen, but... something must be done!

This sucks.

Also, it is kind of nice to see more serious threads at the Anime section, though it is not really as constructive and accurate as one hopes it to be, considering that most posters here are thirteen years old and such. But nonetheless, it is still nice.

They obviously know HOW to read if they watch fansubs, I think it's just a motivation issue. Anime will entertain them immediately, whereas reading, thinking about and making responses to a short essay shows no such instant benefits to them.

Really some people just really piss me off. . .especially people who think they know and who think they are morally right all the time. . but if they are right all the time. . .They shouldn't be here in the first place because this place is still technically illegal (even with a partnership from a legal company). . .if you want to spread your justifed opinions, I believe you should do it elsewhere where they care. . .Most of the people who troll here and or visit this site could careless what the owners want to do. Once the service fail, people will move on. If the series or producers delivers with their product, I am sure that other people will support it.

As for this piece of opinion. . .I agree with you whole heartedly about 85 percent. . the other 15 percent was an iffy for me. As for those responding with facts that got taken from companies who are out for money from potential consumers? they need to work harder in satisfying needs. It is a known fact that attention and dedication to an entertainment venue only last 1 to 3 years. After that, it will either sink or fly. Anime interest is a form of entertainment much like others. Why do you think actors or actress rise or fall with in a given time span? Singers come and go within only a few years. With this example, Anime is a lot like these people who give the service since they are not real but products of studios. And since they aren't mainstreamed in the continent other than Japan. . .it is also quite short lived. So saying that fan subbers and leechers are killing the business. . .I have to say that if Japan couldn't support their own market and have to rely on outside support since they discover the potential of a market, really doesn't make me feel one way or another, since anime never really was targeted at us as a whole outside of Japan. Anime is a form of entertainment to me not a part of my life. If I can support it through how the studios delivers I will. But if it is to just fork over money blindly relying on reviews from people who are relying on the big companies monetary support, I rather just give it up.

start watching avatar-the last air bender, great anime. the best thing about it is that you don't have to waste your time reading the subtitles because it's English dubbed. i hope all animes are English dubbed so i won't have a hard time reading the subtitles, that makes me wanna focus more on the story and the content itself.

avatar is not an anime
it an american cartoon

(so many words...)
i dont really understand it 100% but....
hmm.. i'm not a japanese(though i am asian), and anime is not my culture, and yes, i can LIVE without anime, (since i'm not a fanatic, though it'll be kind of depressing.. since i like it a lot...)
but i really want to watch it, since in my country, the favoured anime must be completed be4 they show it in here. and the worst part is that its dubbed. though i have animax in my tv, its showing less interesting animes, even animes that i dont like anymore.... only a few are good NOW. (like Xxxholic, KKM 2,etc.) and these are just repetitions.
to me, original Anime DVDs in my country are really expensive, and are pretty hard to find (i mean if you want to search for AN anime. if you want random anime, then its pretty easy..)
and thats exactly why i'm so thankful 4 fansubbers.

Wow.... that first post is sooooo long
basing from the title, (too lazy to read the rest of the first post)
my vision of the future anime is that the will have shinier faces
And there will be more on slice-of-lifes and magic genre animes
