I think there's a video like that on Youtube where it would show the years and then it showed the anime playing through those years. It was really cool, and I really wish I remembered what it was called.

There are too many... has anyone noticed how animators were giving lots of attnetion to details, especially between 1990 and 2000? Before computers became usual tools for animation. (I guess it is easier to render, heh.) But I miss chipped buildings, characters with actual distinction and faces with noses and facial hair... not characters that looked like they were botoxed. And plots were also better.

AYASHI NO CERES

DUAL!

GHOSTSWEEPER MIKAMI

...and my all time fave: RUROUNI KENSHIN ^_^

... and a whole lot more. The point is, media answers to the mainstream. It's all about what sells nowadays.
