I don't like 'chat speech' where numbers are used instead of actual words, in sms thats fine - you have limited space, but why on forums where you don't have limited character space?

But errors are okay as long as you understand what is being said, everyone makes mistakes

I think you also have your own mistakes.

Yes, it does annoy me sometimes, but you can't blame anyone who commits 'grammatical' errors, because there are thousands, or maybe millions of people in this world who didn't get a proper English language education. And even those who uses the English language as their first and only language gets things wrong too, especially in 'l33t' and chat speak.

I've also used to type using 'leet', but a very enlightening man made some influence on me, due to his smart and polite way of talking. Actually, he's here on CR, and his poems and fictional stories are unbelievable.

I am not used to 1337 speak or people typing "ur" replaying "you're" and anything related to that
I really hate it when people mix languages together, too .. unless it has a pun to it, haha.

Well, grammatic mistakes really annoy me when they are made in my language (Portuguese). They're also annoying in English, but I certainly make lots of them too so I don't care much... But in Portuguese they sound really horrible almost all the time, and Portuguese is pretty difficult (if you want to speak correctly), which makes it easier to find people saying something wrong.

Not everyone has learned proper English. A lot of people here on CR don't live in a English-speaking country.
I personally don't really care because I'm used to it already. Besides, I make mistakes myself, so it would be hypocritical if I would be annoyed.

so what do you feel when you see them?
i don't mind most of the time. but i get really annoyed when a topic's title is written very very wrong.
and i Rage every time i see someone mixing languages. Examples:
1: that is so Kawaii!!
2: did something hentai ever happen to you?

so please share your opinions

i actually don't mind them-- as long as it isn't chatspeak of course. i think switching language from english to japanese like kawaii or sugoi is okay since this is primarily an anime site to begin with, and people who are anime fans can express their like for it differently. makes it more unique.

If you're talking about mixing languages, then its not considered as a grammatical error. I'm okay with people who mix English with Japanese or those who have terrible English. What annoys me are people who are stuborn and unteachable.. and another thing that annoys me is the 'z' used to replace the 's' in American English...
