Let's just support the filipino work's instead of criticizing it..........

dont think this thread to badly, we filipinos should open our eyes and see whats reality,

we need new plots or unique ones

The things we need to do so:
1. Good actors and actresses. Please, let Juday rest in peace.
2. Good filming spots. Yeah. They use the same place.
3. Clean equipment. Last time, I saw a dead fly on the corner of the movie screen.

yeah just because most of us filipinos look good doesn't mean we can act

even if you do a remake, do it right! and not by amateur actor/actresses that just recently got popular, they need more experience as well as acting classes and they should watch other shows as well so they can get a good feel for what its for

if i was casted into a movie or show that was from a manga/anime based i would read/watch it and try to have similar acting so it doesnt look it was half assed done

there are a few good filipino shows/movies but we need more if we want to be as good as others and we need new ideas, even think of something that has never been done before, uniqueness is better than doing a remake and living up to the original

i totally agree with this.. even hollywood actors/actress still do acting classes

its all in the matter of personal choice.. if the person loves melodramatic ones, then definitely theyd appreciate filipino dramas.. too bad, im for the romantic comedy ones that, im sad to say, filipinos are not good at.. =|

IMO no they cant...[[rite now]]
they have bad stories
they have bad casts...
and sometimes i just dont get it!
lol im filipino i grew up with these dramas and i still cant understand them
well i can understand some...i think that counts.....
BUT!
if they can find the rite ppl for the rite story then probably they can...
and if they can just stop copying other Asian stories then yeah sure
.....and if they have gud special effects..lol........

Shows here are so lame because the plot is so predictable. The story always revolves between the rich and the poor and stuff. The only thing that is different is the names of the characters. But generally, it revolves bout the same plot.

who do you mean we?-----we need to consider the different levels of audience....you may hate those redundant story lines...but that's what the general viewers love to watch...also--as what i've said earlier---media experts will always stick to what's more profitable..it may be innovative for writers/directors to come up with a unique plot or drama....but it may be too risky to do so....UNLESS SOMEONE FROM THE MEDIA BREAKS THE CHAIN--

=---.also, probably, we lack good scripwriters/writers/directors...

Just my opinion

we should be making comments like these so that they will know that there is something lacking in what they are doing.. its not like having crab-mentality, its just that the shows today are so lame and needs improvement..

how could they know if we appreciate it or not if we don't give comments? if we only give out positive comments, wouldn't that be biased?

i know comments like these sound a little harsh for those who don't agree.. but think bout this.. who wants to watch shows which are too much adult-oriented etc.? why not make wholesome and more sensible ones which would appeal to more people?

they must always think carefully about the plot.. since what is being shown in media influences a lot of people specially children..

definitely YES!

one of the Phil. movie that has high quality is Magic temple and some old movies...

I think that most of the producers focuses more on the adults (like 30's above), that is their target market when it comes to movies especially in drama series... that why us (teenagers) cannot relate or rather we DO NOT like it...

I believe in the skills and knowledge of every Pilipinos especially nowadays that many of the independent films are releasing their films and it has been recognized and support within and outside the country (Philippines)...

PROUD to be PINOY! haha xP
