Let's just support the filipino work's instead of criticizing it..........

dont think this thread to badly, we filipinos should open our eyes and see whats reality,

we need new plots or unique ones

who do you mean we?-----we need to consider the different levels of audience....you may hate those redundant story lines...but that's what the general viewers love to watch...also--as what i've said earlier---media experts will always stick to what's more profitable..it may be innovative for writers/directors to come up with a unique plot or drama....but it may be too risky to do so....UNLESS SOMEONE FROM THE MEDIA BREAKS THE CHAIN--

=---.also, probably, we lack good scripwriters/writers/directors...

Just my opinion
.

you dont get what im trying to tell... im saying why dont they try some new plots, storyline

we should be making comments like these so that they will know that there is something lacking in what they are doing.. its not like having crab-mentality, its just that the shows today are so lame and needs improvement..

how could they know if we appreciate it or not if we don't give comments? if we only give out positive comments, wouldn't that be biased?

i know comments like these sound a little harsh for those who don't agree.. but think bout this.. who wants to watch shows which are too much adult-oriented etc.? why not make wholesome and more sensible ones which would appeal to more people?

they must always think carefully about the plot.. since what is being shown in media influences a lot of people specially children..

i truly agree with you

Filipinos are naturally talented.. the problem is the lack of resources and support.. we can really make it big you know, nothing is impossible as the saying goes.. the weak plot, we can improve that..it's my dream to see something that filipinos did, that would make me proud to be a filipino myself..

On the contrary, Filipinos have been making world class movies.

Guess what is the CNN's Best Asian Film of ALL TIME? It's Himala, a Filipino film. It bested Asian classics like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Chungking Express from China, Seven Samurais from Japan and Old Boy from South Korea.

And right now Filipino indie movies are fast becoming favorites the world over, hauling awards after awards from different film festivals and positive reviews from film critics.

These being said, I really don't understand why most Filipinos here hates our own films, while the world sees our movies as masterpieces.

ya im agree with you! PLONING is one of the entry for best foreign movie in OSCAR!

i just cant understand why we should compete our work from others all we have to do is to be proud of it! and not to pull it down!
we have dif culture, aspect, resources thats why we have to make dif from others!
