Nicolas Cage's Dying of the Light which releases on December 5. He plays Evan Lake, a veteran CIA agent, who has been ordered to retire. But when his protege uncovers some incriminating evidence that Lake's nemesis, the terrorist Banir has resurfaced, Lake goes rogue, embarking on a perilous, intercontinental mission to eliminate his sworn enemy.

Then there is DreamWorks' Penguins of Madagascar, which my kids are looking forward to. Skipper is their favorite character in the movie. If the trailers are anything to go by, the 3D computer animated action comedy film looks very promising. It releases on Nov 26.

I also want to watch Annie which is the story of a young, happy foster kid tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York. Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx star in the movie and this one releases on Dec 19.

Mad Max: Fury Road
I'm excited for a lot of stuff next year, but Mad Max Fury Road is my most anticipated movie. It just looks so... honest with itself. Complete insanity is what's being promised by George Miller, apparently even saying his mission during the production was to make a "2 hour chase scene that just keeps on going", and the man has a mostly solid track record, so my hype for that movie is through the fucking roof.
