Chaos;Head episode 7.

Discuss episode 7 here.

What exactly is going on in this episode? I didn't really understand it near the end with the whole, "Gigalomaniax", "Real Booter", "N.O.Z.O.M.I technology", "Noah II", etc.

Can someone please explain?

I just watched that episode too, so this is just my take on what those words mean, though I can be wrong. Gigalomaniax is people who can see the di swords and possibly also wield one themselves. Real Booter is when a gigalomaniax shows other people their di sword or "delusion" so that it will actually become a real item in the world. Its like the di sword itself can not exist in reality unless there are other people who also acknowledges the di sword's existence. Therefore a gigalomaniax uses the real booter in order to use the di sword in real life, so they can destroy those green backpacks that hold the machine which produces delusions to the surrounding area (like with the out of control machinery in this episode). **Also Real Booter is used to make other delusions to become real, like when the main character believed there was a garden to soften the landing of the girl who jumped off the school building. N.O.Z.O.M.I Technology is the organization that is responsible for Noah II and wishes to be able to control people's mind as a way to gain power in politics and such (or whatever nefarious things they have planned). Noah II is the machine(?) that N.O.Z.O.M.I Technology uses to create delusions in people. Because if enough people believe in the same delusion, then its almost like it exists in reality. Basically Noah II is the artificial Real Booter, since Real Booter can only be peformed by gigalmaniax. Anyway that's just my opinion and I can be wrong but I hope that this helps ^^;

I'm not sure of the whole equation part, but I don't think that Nozumi Technology can actually use Noah II to make a gigalomaniax; at least they didn't say so in this episode.

No, they use it to brainwash people for the Meiwa party.

Ah I see. I thought you were saying that Nozomi actually had the ability to create a gigalomaniax. Sorry about that.

I might suggest you wait for the next episodes or that you play the game if you want to understand whats happening, though the English patches aren't finished yet.

I'm sorry what I meant was that a powerful enough Gigalomaniax can make a delusion of another human/being/entity. And Noah II is a machine that reproduces the power of a Gigalomaniax. However it's not as strong as certain people...

i believe we need to watch more of its episodes.
One episode alone cannot make us understand enough.

I'm not reading all of this to see if it's been answered correctly. I'm just going to answer it.

Gigalomaniax are the people that can see delusions before they are "real booted".
Basically, the people with Di swords, or the ability to see them, are gigalomaniax.
"Real booting" is the act of taking a delusion, or image in your head, and making it exist in the real world. (Pretty much like Shirou's ability from fate, Except "real booting" isn't only weapons, it's anything)
The Di swords are the key for the gigalomaniax to "real boot".
Think of it like, once they equip the sword, they get the ability to real boot.
However, Nishijou Takumi has shown that he can real boot without the use of a di sword, which shows he may be slightly different than a gigalomaniax, or maybe he's just a higher level than the others.
Also in this episode, he summoned his Di sword.
Nozomi is a company doing research to harness the power of gigalomaniax to create technology to "real boot" in order to persuade, or brainwash people into following their will.
I believe they said they have captured a few gigalomaniax as well.
Noah II is a machine that works as a di sword, and gives them the ability to "real boot" even though they aren't gigalomaniax themselves.(they may be but it hasn't been said yet.)

I hope that helps.
