i like kdramas i used to watched it a LOT but when I started watching Jdramas, I find myself hooked on it and can't go watch kdramas back again. Now I only watch jdramas but hopefully if Kdrama make a new one that would catch my attention I might find myself look at it again. (perhaps fullhouse2 or coffee prince2 ...and when gong yoo finish his military service )

Yeah that's the thing Before I was obssessed w/Korean & Taiwanese dramas but once you find 1 jdrama that hooks you, you're hooked on jdramas for life. I think it depends on choice. I used to think Jdramas weren't so romantice but I noticed that the most romantic jdramas are the ones that don't take place in a high school setting(which have bad kissing scenes aswell).

I recommand you watch the drama Long Vacation...it's very romantic and funny and awesome. I just finished it today and now i'm converted.

i hate how japanese dramas normalize situations and things that should be considered perverse or crazy in the real functioning world. it's really fantastically unrealistic

japanese dramas don't teach you about life people! listen up fifteen year olds. they teach you about being hopelessly optimistic in the face of any situation. this rings true for most the girl character of the drama where the heroine must be chaste/pure in thought(although not sexually), and must always always be the better person at the end of the day. well god damnit! i don't want to be the better person. "bitch if you mess with me i'll mess you right back up"

haha i know. i get bored when i watch jdramas, i always skip almost everything. haha. i would never get tired of kdramas. some people say that kdramas always end up the same thing, but at least in different way. jdramas kind of end up at the same way too. it's mostly about family and such. lol.

i am one who loves the kdramas and the twdramas... i can't stand the jdramas/movies though... i think it's the way the girls talk... i've only seen two jmovies and i was sooo turned off them... i think that if the girls talk more seriously and with more emotions then i wouldn't mind watching it cause i do have to admit that the plots and story lines are a lot better and i AM starting to get tired of the same love triangle over and over... idk... i am pretty open minded but i haven't seen one that sparks my interest yet....

i totally agree with you. mostly all of them have the same personalities.

respect your opinion but i generally opt for jdramas over tw and k dramas mainly because of length.
and because of the length the storyline seems kinda dragged for tw and k.
...though i do admit some jdramas are not that good.

it depends on what j-drama you watch. some aren't too bad.
