9 out of 13 of my "favs" in crunchyroll are so far from realism it's ridiculous. Ex. someone using a sword in the 21st century. Basically any one of these genres will have a strange thing: action, fantasy, sci-fi, ecchi. If it takes place in the past and it's people waring with sword, that's realistic. But if it's some guy doing a bunch of backflips, and getting shot 10 times and being able to walk it off...

It's just annoying when I see stuff that is too unbelievable. Thus, making me not enjoy the anime.

I'm not saying to just cross out those genres, just saying those are the ones with the most crazy ****. i don't mind if it's a metaphorical storyline (like in clannad with the girl in the lifeless world)

I think that's why I lean towards romances, because there's nothing crazy... just peaceful little storyline with a good setting and a consistent plot

My favorite animes are generally believable ones and since I'm currently not watching an anime to intently I'm going to ask crunchyroll to help me find one Thanks in advance

Know any, or am I just wishful thinking

There's a topic for this but other than that, There are not many animes that are totally realistic, the closest I would say is Minami-ke

So... like, physically unrealistic? Or unrealistic in any aspect. Because if it was perfectly realistic, why bother watching it? Nothing exciting actually happens in real life. Even harem animes where nothing is physically impossible, are still ridiculous, cause the protagonist is all like "Oh, I met you for the first time, and I fell in love with you, except I made a bad impression, but now thanks to coincidence we're forced to spend a lot of time together, and eventually your feelings for me will develop!". Haha.. most anime doesn't make a lot of sense. Anyways, for a semi realistic show, I suggest Gallery Fake. It's kinda crazy, but perfectly within the bounds of possibility.
